Everything exactly the same but you can choose your team first then select the opponent tier team and league up that way.....

Well......sliver of hope. That screenshot of the menu is post game.

We don’t see how he starts PNO and selects his team. So maybe, maybe, maybe. It’s how I described above at the very least.

Funny. I just watched Brian Mazique's YouTube video, and he stated that the mode is still the same...but....

Ksuttonjr beat me to it! I was just about to indicate that if 2K didn't announce any news about PNO that means it's exactly the same as last year.

True, but do you really think they would keep the system that forced you to use other teams after patching it out last year? I understand that PNO overall didn't change much, because it's basically online quick matches, so I'm not too trippy about that. I just want to the run with the Pacers (maybe the Fever) and that's it.

Honestly, I don't think he really explored PNO, because we don't even know if we can use the WNBA teams in PNO. Between two YouTubers that actually touched on the mode, I'm kinda floored how neither mentioned anything about the matchmaking process. As a PNO player, I would want to know if the WNBA and Decades Teams are usable.

With the changes to stamina/sprint and ball-handling, will it be harder to cheese? I myself don’t cheese, but always seem to be matched up with one.

Man...in my experience, cheesers will always find something to exploit. That's why I never get upset at 2K Sports and whine about them never "testing" the game before release. Cheesers/Exploiters will take a perfectly good idea that sounded good on paper (pushing/chucking in NBA 2K19) and turn it into the most hated feature of the game. Cheesers/Exploiters live to break games.
