My ideas for art direction.

• NBA Player Models:
  Let me start out by thanking you guys for all the work you've done to improve the player models/body types these past 2 years. The players actually look realistic and more like athletes now. With that being said there are still a lot of small inaccuracies that need to be ironed out.
  
  - Body Proportions:
  1. Players with oversized heads
  2. Players with no necks
  3. Players with short arms
  4. Short legs/Lower body in general (example below)

Two of these Davis' lower leg length actually fits a big man, and looks 6'11" or close to 7 feet. *(For reference, I simply copied and pasted your green line onto my "extended" limb length Davis. So I'm not actually drawing a new line; it's the same line length)* It's a bad microsoft windows paint job, but it's a rough estimate to show why 2k Davis is still proportionally incorrect.

  
  
  - Issues with the skin tone of some players faces not matching the skin tone of their body
  
  - Matching players with the correct body types
  
  - Getting small details such as hair color and eye color correct

  Mike Bibby clearly has brown eyes, but someone gave him blue eyes. I know this is only one example, but there are others such as Bill Laimbeer and Chris Paul who are incorrect as well.
  
  
  - Creating more accurate cyberfaces for players you aren't able to get scanned (I can imagine that creating player faces from scratch is very time consuming, but a lot of them just look really off and stand out badly compared to scanned players)

  - Let us edit wingspan, body length, and shoulder width again, also add the ability to edit leg length

  - Improved hair textures: While you guys have done amazing on certain hairstyles, a lot of players hairstyles look really off. (Brian Mazique talked about this in one of his 2K19 videos: https://youtu.be/ylHHr6DuqEU?t=476)
  
  
• Courts/Arenas:
  From my understanding, you guys decided to scan the actual in-arena lighting. However, I think you guys should take a different art direction and go for a more broadcast accurate look. Meaning it should look closer to what we see when we're watching an actual game on TV. I feel like this would be more visually appealing as the way the arenas/courts look now, at least to me, is dull and flat.

  While we are all so appreciative of the work you guys put into CAP this past year and how you listened to so many of our requests, there is always room for improvement. We ultimately want as much customization as possible. So here are a list of ideas:
  
  - More unique and diverse hairstyles (examples in spoiler, also PLEASE stop taking out hairstyles each year, add on to what you have)

• Jerseys:
  - Jerseys for all modern teams need to have a tighter fit
  
  - A lot of the fonts/logos are too big. Here's an example of Houston's jersey.

  - We should have either a slider to adjust the length of arm sleeves and compression pants, or more options for different fits. Every player wears their accessories differently, so it would be cool to have the option to customize that.

  - We should be able to equip celebrations for NBA players and CAPs (why is this only in MyCareer?)

  - We need a community manager for player likeness/art updates on social media. Someone who we can directly send feedback to (If the other game can have one, why can't 2K?)
  
  - We need more player hairstyles to be updated at launch. I know players are constantly changing their hairstyles, but they should at least be updated from their previous season look. I think most of us understand that with 2K being a yearly release, there won't be any major graphical jump, so when a majority of the players look the same, it feels like we're just playing the previous game.

This and editing default Coach Defensive Settings would go a long way towards fixing offline gameplay.

I absolutely have played basketball and quite a bit of it.
Have you?
If you know anything about basketball you would know that it’s a non-contact sport. Meaning, you are not allowed to make contact with the opposing team or a foul will be called.
In recent years they have changed the label from non-contact to limited contact, meaning some contact, such as bodying up someone in the post or crowding a ball handler, is allowed, but contact still draws fouls. Limited contact is allowed but excessive contact is a foul.
So stop reading all you like, but just because you choose to not read doesn’t change the facts or the rules.

This sort of seemed contradictory as you said “non-contact” and then said “limited contact.” 🤷🏻*♂️ Kind of confused there.

The number one thing I want fixed is the AI’s ability/inability to defend the Pick and Roll. The middle PnR is defended too well as the CPU can give a hard hedge with no help on the roll man, and the Hedge man is able to defend both players as 2K can’t seem to program an overhead pass properly and the pass goes straight into the defense, despite the roll man being essentially wide open.

On a PnR towards the baseline, the CPU just falls asleep and does nothing. Allowing a good shooter to pull up for an easy jump shot.

That’s really all that has been an annoyance so far for me. CPU defense is way OP but can sort of be minimized with slider settings.

Well, actually i do Play Basketball for nearly 14 years. and usually we Leave our League games with Lots of bruises, in some cases even with small injuries because of All the contact. even In the official rulebook of the german Basketball Association on the first Page it states, that Basketball is Not a contact-less Sport any more.
