Re: #Bring your game

I'm all ok 2k makes more money and helps them build a better product, it's business all normal. Instead maybe bext year we can have a better broadcast tickers in which a lot of statistics or stuff from real nba and or from our myleague online you know has been mentioned thru game and there can be a headline with an hashtag plastered on that ticker. Much more visual and much more appropriate to get more of this commercial stuff thru the year..

And yet all I want is full control of the product I purchased, one that's finished on release day and not in need of patches to repair everything that's flawed or bugged. I'd use my own rosters and stay offline if it was an option. I've gotten used to a lot of things to play this game because there still is fantastic basketball there to play, but even if you're ready to accept anything and everything, I'm not.

I still have hope that they'll reverse, or at least halt this development, and I'm not so pious as to say I'll stop playing the game over this. But the transgressions towards their paying customers are piling up and I'll have no problem refraining from buying future releases if this type of behaviour persists.

Guess you better just keep your money around the time the game drops because as annoying as it is, this **** ain't going away no time soon, let's not be naive about that.

I don't understand this reasoning at all. I realize, given 2K's track record, that it's unlikely things will go in any other direction, but this kinda crap, this blatant screwing over paying customers, is, in my experience, unprecedented in the gaming world. I'm not naive. I'm not new to marketing, or marketing in games in particular, and in case you haven't realized they're breaking the code of conduct.

Man, some of y'all are really pushing the envelope when it comes to the reaction for a hashtag-ad in a corner that is barely visible when you actually play the game. It has literally had zero influence when I've been playing.

I could give two ****s about a ****ing code of conduct in a damn Basketball game so you're preaching to the wrong person about that

Don't nobody care who has marketing experience or who doesn't have it. But if people are tired of constantly being screwed over by a gaming company and you're voicing your displeasure about it and nothing still hasn't changed, then there's only one solution really left.

Code of Conduct? They WROTE the Code of Conduct for the game. Also, people who buy VC, are they not paying customers too? VC is 2KSports' additional revenue stream, and I really don't see it changing no time soon. The whole point of marketing is to entice people to impulse buy, and marketing VC OUTSIDE of the game is straight up pointless, so.....

I understand you're upset, but let's not pretend this is a crime against humanity. Advertising is everywhere, and I personally don't like advertising. That's why I pay the "premium" fees to remove ads from most things that I subscribe to, add adblockers to my phones/tablets and computers, and don't have cable services. IMHO, I wish other video game companies would advertise like 2KSports. It's there, but it's not "in my face" advertising.
