I think jerseys are tied into the roster, so if you started a new mode using the current 2K roster, you would get them.

The problem is a lot of those jerseys are secret and have a specific release date set by the NBA, people tend to play in advance, holiday, allstar etc.... so in order not to spoil them they can't be put into the game prior, they did that last time and CPU players posted them online.

This is exactly why the watermark hashtag is offensive. First we got VC being tied into just about every mode in the game, now we get ads plastered onto the screen - they're treating this like a free-to-play game. It's a disturbing development, and they've shown that they don't hold their fans in high regard. They think we're stupid enough to accept this crap and it seems they're right.

Get use to it, its additional revenue for them and probably help maintain their partner ship with Nike, so they can afford to have all those pretty shoes in the game.

Except they don't have all those pretty shoes in the game. I understand that a lot of people don't care to take a stand against this sort of thing, but taking a stand for it just blows my mind.

Like i said get use to it, this is not the old days of buy a game put it in and what you purchased is all you got and are going to get, it now full year round support, roster update, server support, patches, etc... 2k found a catch cow with VC a few years back now they found something else, it could be worse at least they are advertising something related to basketball.
