Haha; yeah you've described the struggle perfectly. You think "This is perfect; let me just bump this one slider a bit so they've play a bit smarter... oh no, now they're shooting lights out and driving constantly because that's what 2k tells them is a smart shot... let me adjust the contact sliders a bit... oh no, now no one hit ANY shots..." and then you have a mess of a slider set

That said, I tried your Off/Def Awareness/Consistency updates and they're a big improvement. I still felt like my team's CPU defenders were a little dumb, so after some Googling to read old discussions about the Off/Def Consistency tendencies (like this, which is about the attributes, but it's still interesting: https://2kmtcentral.com/forums/threa...they-really-do), I set Off = 0 and Def = 100 for both User and CPU. This gave me a very good dynamic between my team's CPU defenders and the opposing team (though Shot %, Fouls, Turnovers, etc. are now out of whack, as you saw in your Bulls game, so tweaking must be done).

EDIT: Even if Off Cons = 0 / Def Cons = 100 is not your cup of tea (for instance, maybe you use a different camera angle than me and it feels different, or your playstyle is different), I'll let you know what I end up in terms of the other tweaks just in case they're telling in anyway for something you're trying to tweak.

OK - this is interesting. I'm trying these settings for my next game. I did a brief experiment just to see how it played and I will say I saw several fouls in just 10 minutes which I want.

Off Aware - 75/85 (higher for better movement and decisions)
Def Aware - 40 (lower for more fouling)

Off Cons - 25 (lower shooting % and more runs)
Def Cons - 65 (maintaining good transition D and offsetting the lower awareness)

We'll see how a full game plays out.

Oooooh i just played a quarter of this. Not bad, not bad. Players generally make good decisions with these but there are realistic brain farts too. Good call on these tweaks

I'm not sold on these yet - need to play a few more games but I'm encouraged there is something here with this mix or something close.

Currently trying this slight variation.

Just played Orlando at our home court in Seattle. Good game. Won by 14.

Here is one more. Played at the Cavs. Not a very good team and they were without Kevin Love. Easy win by 18. Stats continue to look good over all. Cavs had a ton of Off Rebounds, but they did only shoot 40%.
