NBA2K 2021 RES2 All Star Sliders

Hello Community -

Here are my 2021 sliders. Thanks to the various contributors to this thread and the other very talented slider makers whose ideas often inspire me.

Some caveats - I do not use the shot stick or new aiming system. I'm a button shooter using Real Player %.

Focus - My focus as every year is on less bumping, good movement, and smoother gameplay with good sim results.

Mode and Roster Notes - I play Season Mode with a completely custom team. I have removed most of the badges because I find they are unrealistic. I mostly rely on the Roster Attributes and Tendencies for good gameplay. To edit the badges I flick the right stick down twice for each column to eliminate most badges for most players. Legendary and Gold badges will remain for the top players only (after 2 flicks downward with the right stick the Purple and Gold badges are now Silver and Bronze if that makes sense). I keep the Blue personality badges.

I have Increased the Fouls Attributes and Tendencies to generate more fouls and also increase the Contest Shot tendency. For less aggressive drives and more drive and kick play I decrease the Drive tendencies and increase Dish to Open Man.

If you try these, let me know what you think or would change.

Remember, play style and skill matter so no slider set is one size fits all. I'm not using the shot stick or aiming system so your mileage may vary.

Maybe a couple of changes pending some more testing over a couple of games.

Observations - CPU 3 point % is too low (~20%) and overall Human shooting percent is a little high (~54% overall and 45% 3PT) over 3 games.

These first 3 games were against Miami, Memphis, and Phoenix. I lost to Miami by 4 away, beat Phoenix by 26 away, and destroyed Memphis by 39 at home. Memphis shot 45% overall but on 12% (2 for 16) from 3.

Let's see how it goes vs. Clippers at home.

Back and forth game. Up by 15, down by 6, then a late game surge to win by 10.

3PT % still a little low and Skyhawks overall shooting % a tad too high. That trend continues. I really focused on pounding the paint. PIP is higher than I want for the Skyhawks at 70. But that's mostly on me.

Yep - I do get the "force is with you" redirection from time to time. Hoping they fix that in a patch.

So the last couple 2K version I have played with Lateral Quickness down to create more sense of player weight and less skating. I don't think this game needs that change. So last game I experimented with bumping Lateral Quickness up to 65.

I like it. Players had better flow and responsiveness. This will probably stick but I want to give it another game or two. If I continue to like it I'll updated the first post with this change.

These look great and would be something to use for my style of gaming. I also am a button shooter so can't wait to try these out tonight!

Just fyi though, I will be playing 6min quarters with normalized sim stats and minutes on. Shouldn't matter for stats but just in case it does I wanted to mention it.
