TC's sim style play All-Star sliders

May have just had my most fun game to date. This one was a high scoring, fast-paced double OT thriller. Brandon Jennings not only hit a 3 to send the game into overtime at the end of regulation, he then proceeded to steal a pass and hit a jumper to tie the game at the end of the first overtime. I had the ball on the last possession in this one. Wall got to the lane and the whole D collapsed, I decide to dish out for 3 and go for the win but I hit off back iron. Still an unbelievable game. And no that's not a typo, Drummond really had 29 and 29.

Pistons -- Stat -- Wizards (me)

142 -- Final 2OT -- 140

59/124(48%) -- FG -- 52/120(43%)

7/25(28%) -- 3PT -- 8/29(28%)

17/28(61%) -- FT -- 28/40(70%)

20 -- Fast Break -- 22

82 -- PIP -- 68

34 -- Assists -- 30

78(18) -- Rebounds(Off.) -- 65(16)

10 -- Steals -- 16

4 -- Blocks -- 5

19 -- Turnovers -- 13

Washington
Wall: 13/32fg 13/16FT 41pts 9ast 4stl

Ariza: 10/21fg 25pts 12reb 2stl

Detroit
Drummond: 14/17fg 29pts 29reb 1blk 2stl

Jennings: 9/28fg 26pts 15ast 2stl

What I enjoy most about these sliders is that every game can be different even if you're playing with same teams, but you can still tell where each team has an advantage against the other. This game was the second of a back-to-back home and away with the Pistons. As you can tell by the score this second game saw a much slower pace, yet you can still see how I was able to take advantage of weak D at the PG position with Wall and Drummond was still able to dominate the boards against me.

Wizards (me) -- Stat -- Pistons

100 -- Final -- 85

37/87(43%) -- FG -- 37/94(39%)

9/25(36%) -- 3PT -- 3/17(18%)

17/24(71%) -- FT -- 8/12(67%)

6 -- Fast Break -- 10

44 -- PIP -- 36

19 -- Assists -- 19

55(11) -- Rebounds(Off.) -- 51(15)

9 -- Steals -- 6

6 -- Blocks -- 5

10 -- Turnovers -- 11

Washington
Wall: 11/22fg 9/9FT 33pts 8ast 1stl

Beal: 7/18fg 1/6-3pt 18pts 9reb 1stl

Detroit
Smith: 7/17fg 15pts 4reb 1blk

Drummond: 6/10fg 13pts 15reb 1blk

Re: TC's sim style play All-Star sliders

You guys probably want to see some other box scores for some other teams so I'm going to try to get in 1 or 2 games with some random teams tonight just to give you a better idea of what these sliders are capable of. The only reason I'm only posting Wizards games is because I'm trying to play all 82 games of this season so if I play an exhibition game that's just another game that I could have played towards my season. Thanks for following guys and check back later tonight around 11pm EST for some more box scores. And keep the feedback coming!!

Re: TC's sim style play All-Star sliders

Been giving these a go for the past 3-4 games and they are definitely challenging. I'm finding the computer is loving driving the ball against me and 60-70% of buckets are from inside the paint. Maybe it is my pourous defense and my opponent is taking advantage of it but not a lot of mid range game from the computer.

Does this have to do with my coach profiles/team tendencies more than the sliders?

I think it's a combo between sliders as well as defensive play style. I personally play off most guys and give up the jump shot rather than the lane. Right now I'm working on a SuperStar set as the all-star level just didn't seem to give me the challenge I'm looking for in a lot of areas.
