All-Star Sliders With Stats Using Real Player%/Auto Management

Here's a set I've been working on for quite some time. I played around 100 games with these unpatched. After recently patching up, I figured I would share my first 10 games worth of MyGM stats with MIA.

A few notes: I use just about Auto everything. This includes Timeouts and Substitutions and POE's (which I manually adjust maybe once per game depending on the situation).

I primarily use my PG on defense, but do switch up to the on-ball defender about half the time. However, when it looks like I'm out of position or about to get beat by the ball handler, I will switch to an off-ball defender.

I use Default 2K rosters.

I shoot using the square button on PS4.

Below are my stats, combined with real life stats. The bolded areas are the stat lines that I consider slightly against real life averages.

I am NOT a 2K slider Guru and do not plan on trying to create the "perfect set." Though as you can see below, the numbers are extremely good! This is a thread for sharing to those interested. And please don't ask if these will work with the Shot Stick, Custom Rosters or Manual POE's because the answer from me is...well, I'm not sure!

Re: All-Star Sliders With Stats Using Real Player%/Auto Management

My man... Funny. I was just throwing some sliders together myself. I say this because, it sounds you and I play almost exactly the same. This should help. What is cool is The first thing I did was set my shooting sliders at......

OFFENSE:
Inside Shot Success: 41 Mine: 40
Close Shot Success: 41 Mine: 40
Mid-Range Success: 41 Mine: 43
3PT Success: 43 Mine : 44
Layup Success: 48 Mine: 50
Dunk In Traffic Freq: 55 Mine: 65
Dunk In Traffic Success: 50 Mine: 50
Pass Accuracy: 50 Mine: 45
Alley-Oop Success: 55 Mine: 50
Contact Shot Success: 45 Mine: 55

The same for Hum/CPU... With the exception of a couple areas we are almost identical. I think that means we are on to something. I haven't looked at the others in comparison. Also I use the Kings..

LOL! Based on my stats, your edits seem like a nice fit.

Mainly, to increase 3P% without impacting overall FG%, I'm thinking of raising the 3PT success slider up 2 (HUM and CPU), and decreasing Inside and Close Shooting Success down 1 (HUM and CPU). Just like yours with the exception of Mid-Range. LOL!

I excluded Turnover stats, but mine are slightly low on both sides. Thus your Pass Accuracy decrease could work. That and HUM steals are SLIGHTLY low too so this could help (though I was think of just increasing my HUM steals slider between up 2 and up 5).

Rebounds are a tricky one. I'd like to bring mine within a closer to real life average but decreasing my Defensive Rebounds, which are high for MIA, will only increase CPU Offensive Rebounds and I don't think I'm ready to make that switch. Though statistically, CPU OREB's are low!

As you can see, league wise, my OREB's are low too. But look at MIA's real life numbers next to that! LOL! Spot on! Though someone plugging in my adjustments may not see a proper increase. Hard to say.

And let's not talk about fouls. Free throw attempts look good so I'm fine with lower than average fouls per game. It's a 2K issue and probably not worth adjusting the defense sliders just to cosmetically increase fouls when free throw attempts look good enough.

I just played a game as the Kings, using the sliders exactly as you have them in OP. We were at home against the Nuggets, and lost 113-95. I don't know how to capture the stats, but they were 47/97 for 48%, 6/17 for 35% from three, and at the line 13/21 for 62%. We were 36/86 for 42%, 6/17 for 35% from three, and 17/21 for 81% from the line.

We both had 7 steals. They had 8 turnovers, and we had 10. The only glaring thing I have is the blocks. They had 8 (although it's the Nuggets, so I could live with that), but we had 13. Way too high for us.

They also had 20 offensive rebounds. I actually liked seeing that. We had 9.
Defensive rebounds they had 39, to our 31.

They had 12 team fouls, we had 15.

Only other thing would be Points in the paint. They had 60, and we had 40.

I just need to work on my defense, but I think I could have stopped more of the points in the paint, with the exception of more blocks, which I don't want. I'm tinkering with lowering vertical to like 15. Other than that. I like everything how it is.

Re: All-Star Sliders With Stats Using Real Player%/Auto Management

Or...I suppose the logical thing would be to lower blocking. I forgot you had it at 50 for human....where as I've been playing with it at 0 usually.

Also I need to stop the initial drive to the basket (which I'll get better at), therefore point's in paint will come down. Other than that... I like em! Although I may lower steals some too.

I have blocking at 0 for the Human, 55 for the CPU. Hang on, I'll double check the OP and be back with more impressions on your game.
