RES2 2K23 All Star Current Gen Sliders

Made a few changes to the sliders on the front page based on observations from the last few games.

• Increased Mid and 3PT shooting, Body Sensitivity, Vertical, Speed, and On Ball Defense, and Go for on Ball Steals

• Adjusted Off and Def Awareness and Consistency

• Decreased Lateral Quickness

• Decreased Play Passing Lanes for the CPU only

• Adjusted the Movement sliders slightly

Think I need to drop On Ball Defense back down. Since raising it to 65, CPU offense is super slow, taking the full shot clock most of the time. They are shooting low % suddenly and only getting about 70 shots per game.

It's been weird, but I'm not sure what else I changed that would have thrown it off.

Going to drop it back to 50 and see if it's better.

OP updated - v0.3 sliders posted. Here is where I am for now.

Edit - updated CPU shooting, increased by 2 each. Increased CPU Off Awareness by 2. Working on CPU shooting % to be a little higher.

Current gen definitely playing a little different than Next Gen based on the slider ideas in the Next Gen sets. I have seen it reported that Da Czar has confirmed the Next Gen AI is different that Current gen so slider concepts that work in one may not work in the other.

So while I continue to monitor the Next Gen slider threads, Current Gen sliders will need to be different.

Current testing focus includes -

Increased CPU shooting sliders
Find the right spot for Acceleration (currently at 40)
Higher On Ball D (currently at 75)
Increased CPU Off Awareness (currently at 75)
Keeping CPU Off and Def Consistency at 65 or lower (want variation)
Higher CPU Attack the Basket (currently at 75)
Find the right spot for Contest Shots (currently at 65)

I am keeping Take Mid Range at 85 to get more mid range shots from the CPU. They are still getting fouled enough so I think this is OK.

Updated the Front Page with the changes I currently testing. I am using a few ideas from a few Next Gen sets. Current Gen plays differently than Next Gen but there are concepts that can apply.

Good game at Memphis. Up by 12 in the 3rd, Memphis kept chipping away and came back. Turnovers hurt me. Had a chance to go for the winning shot at the end of the game but my outlet pass was picked off and the clock ran out.

Shooting % just a little high. Memphis 3PT attempts too low. Memphis PIP maybe a tad high...but Ja was 9-9 in the paint. So that sounds like my issue defending him.
