Sounds of the show on ps4 ?

Yes the so called "feature " is in the game to it doesn't work so it's hardly a feature. I'm well fed up now of not being able to alter my batters music or stadium music with the soundtrack that's in the game. Some kind of update from the debs would be nice.

Ok so the 218mb update I just installed seems to fix the issue with editing in game tracks and assigning them for batter walk ups. I just edited a song and added to my batter and it now plays it. Going to try and do some for game intro and mid innings etc to see if it all now works.

I used the share factory app and added my custom mp3s to a clip. It imported the mp3 and saved the mp3 to my hard drive so this should be doable. Clearly the ps4 can play an mp3 its now without a shadow of a doubt to me a music unlimited issue.

correct me if i am wrong, but wasn't there a menu in SOTS where you had to add music to the "in game cues" or "in game chants" etc before you could actually edit the music which means that even though the SOTS appears to be in the PS4 menus the actual sub-menu to add YOUR OWN music is not even in the menu meaning the only music we can edit is the music that comes with the game ....?

That is correct. Until Sony updates the PS4 firmware to allow mp3's then you will not have the capability of using any other music in The Show other than what came with the game itself.

I'd rather have SOTS.


With the framerate issues and lack of mp3 support, the PS4 is seeming like a downgrade from my PS3 so far.

OK no one has answered this yet. BIGWILL33 you did not answer the question. I am well aware Sony needs to update the firmware but even if they do update the firmware there is no SUB-menu in SOTS to add our own music to 'in-game cues' and 'in game chants' because before we had to add our own songs to the edit music page. it did not just appear there and in PS4 version there is no option.
I seriously question why i even post here half of you guys just evade the question or complete ignore it.

I suppose that I misunderstood your question or misread what you were asking. But none of us really know, I wouldn't imagine. Until there is a way to import our own tracks we won't understand exactly how it works for the PS4. I can only presume that it will function properly somehow now that the game has been patched, but nobody that is not a producer of the game can truly answer that correctly for you.

Regardless the issue is pretty much moot until Sony gets things together on their end.
