I eyeballed Citi and Target in Home Run Derby mode. Target field got definite improvements. There's a sign in the middle-right-outfield that wasn't there last year, and they did something to make it feel less empty than last year's. They also tweaked some of the colors. It looks better.

Citi field maybe didn't get as much love as I thought.

Great to hear. Awesome to see the game continually supported/updated on the vita.

Fifa has been a roster update/uniform update the past 2 years.

MLB The Show 14 for Vita

I agree with Blzer. Everything looks great, but the ground rule double is a little bit alarming. Hope that was just a fluke and I will say it does look like it hit the warning track so I am ok with that one, but the angle seems like it should've hit wall.

Either way I can overlook that as 13 was an awesome Vita title, so 14 even if just a roster update with a few tweaks will please me.

Got another video coming. Broke out my Canon, recording the Giants/Twins game so you can see if I'm at all right about the stadium.

I'd like to time how long it takes for a CPU vs CPU game to finish. Maybe that'll be my next project.

Is there anything anyone wants to see?

Re: MLB The Show 14 for Vita

You swatting flies over there every so often?

I like a lot of the updated stances for the Giants! Sandoval still doesn't have a new one, but many of the others capture the basic essence of what is their stance (though Belt could have less bat waggle). Awesome!

There was a unique double play animation that, while I enjoyed seeing, I hope is not seen very often. After all, I've never seen anything like it before in real life.

There are instances where I see improved bat/ball physics, and there are other times where I'm thinking some of it remains the same ol' same ol'. For one thing, there are more spinners and flairs. I love that. Pagan was able to go first-to-third with ease when Scutaro dumped the ball down the right field line. The only thing they desperately need to work on now is the solid hits frequency to the opposite field. I understand people can hit the ball with power that way, but sometimes it's just a bit too much. It also appears to be the same kind of spray that way as it is to the pull side. More often than not, someone would pop the ball foul to the opposite field side than be squaring it up over and over again. This has been an issue for a while and I know it has been worked on, but I still think there is a way's to go.

If there was anything I wanted to request as far as a video, could you actually do one where you're playing a game? The reason I ask is because in CPU vs. CPU, they shrink the ball to normal size. I want to see how large it is now when you're playing a game. I really, really wish they would just give us the option for a normal ball size (and for all I know, maybe they did this year). Also, would you mind playing with all of the new dynamic cameras? I know there are different ones for hitting and defense, but I haven't really seen any gameplay videos with the new hitting one at all (actually again, for all I know, maybe it's not included in the Vita version). I also want to see how steady the framerate is with that new camera.

Thanks for all you're doing, man! Oh, and might I recommend that you touch a few sliders and see the results? You can find a thread of mine for MLB 13 and even see how that changes up the game if you'd like!

Very happy to try and share some of the excitement.

It's a bit tough to get the camera working, playing the game. I'll give it a shot though!
