Pulled off a 4 team trade last night with me as the Angels and my buddy as the Reds. Maybe a tad unfair but ill see your opinion.

Reds get 1b Adam Dunn
White sox get 2b Matt long
Angels get C Austin Hedges
Padres get Rp manny parra and C Hank Conger

Im gonna split 1B and DH for Butler and move Profar to second base. I also save some money
Royals get a all star second basemen in return

Doesn't make sense on the Padres end. Traded away a top catching prospect for pitching they don't need and they already have Grandal and Hundley as their catchers in the majors. Conger would provide depth but the Pads wouldn't give up Hedges that easily...

Trust me i know, I was a huge part of last years success along with NFG and AC during my time, but all they have to do is look at the values on the spreadsheet and then say how about this deal and then we'll look it over and modify it if necessary. But ya I completely understand what you mean

Agree I'm a huge fan of Hedges ad there's no way they'd give him up in the deal that was proposed not even close

I was thinking about trading Ells to Seattle for Smoak and Franklin.
Move Bradley to center.
Convert Franklin into a LF and give him a year in the minors to replace Gomes.
Flipping Napoli at the deadline for a corner outfield prospect.

Thoughts?
