I am the Yankees and I was thinking about trading for Headley from the Padres. The deal would look like this:

Padres:
Ivan Nova
Manny Banuelos
Eduardo Nunez
Dante Bichette Jr.

Yankees:
Chase Headley
Maybe some filler?

How does that look?

Any ideas for an Ellsbury Trade to Giants?? Want a realistic trade that would be fair for both the Red Sox and Giants

I'm the Padres, wanting to trade for David Price on the struggling Rays who is 5-9 with a 4.57 ERA

C Austin Hedges (A), SP Casey Kelly (A), OF Rhymer Liriano (B) for SP David Price

Is it a good trade?

Nova and Banuelos don't have a bunch of potential and Bichette and Nunez are just role players. I would say that you have to include somebody like Williams, Heathcott or Austin in there.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

I got a couple thoughts running through my head. Someone posted this in a Yankees dynasty and I am Seattle so I thought about it some and the other is for a corner stone lead off guy and CF player that would be fairly cheap I guess.

The one remark was moving Alex Rodriguez back to Seattle and would be a nice addition if only for a year 2 if super lucky. What would it take and would they possibly look at Mike Morse to be involved somehow. Anyone can be had in the minors.

The other is Carlos Gomez from the Brewers. Again any Mariners minors is open and the Brewers have a bit of a surplus in the OF and he probably wouldn't be moved unless it's a solid offer. Other guy would be Lorenzo Cain, but not quite the CF I am looking for. Problem is both teams are looking for a run now so minors might not be an option.

Only guy on the major league roster I would move is Mike Morse and the Brewers could potentially use him as well, but would rather toss one of my prospects out the door than anyone else at the moment.

Any thoughts, Combinations or shoot downs anyone?

Replace Kelly with Fried or Gyorko

Add in Erlin

Add in Ross/Portillo/Spangeberg

Should have 2 threads of trade talk, one in which is serious offers(non-untouchables) and ones that are fantasy trades (all that include Trout, Harper, Strasburg ect).

We don't encourage "extremely unrealistic trades". The only way they are even put into consideration is if its fair, and even then, 98% of the time we will say no, or we don't encourage it. You can go ahead and make one, but I doubt it'll last because a mod will tell you to come here...
