What has made you jump up out of your seat?

Last night I'm playing the Pirates in my RTTS. I'm on the Brewers, it's the bottom of 9th, 1 out, and Casey McGehee is on 2nd. I hit a ball deep to right, McCutchen jumps at the wall, catches it, and goes crashing to the ground. Right when he catches it, Casey tags up from 2nd, see's that McCutchen is down, rounds 3rd and heads for home. The throw home is off, and Casey slides in. A runner scoring from second on a sac fly, just awesome. Bonus, I got my 25 training points for driving the run in.

Two more: 1st. I was playing the Twins and in the bottom of the 9th, I was down 4-3 and had Josh Vitters, Jesus Montero, and Dominac Brown coming up. I forgot to pinchit A-Rod for Vitters, so I did so for Brown, and A-Rod came up with two out, after the first grounded out. He hits one up the middle, the shortstop grabs it, throws to first, and.... the 1st baseman drops it! I'm like, OK I still got life. Jeter's up. I take a curveball down the middle, it was nasty, it buckled me. The next pitch the same exact thing and I crushed it. Jeter pulled it and he was willing it fair and it hits the fair pole! 2nd. I was facing the Rays, who I was tied for 1st place with, and was again down 4-3 in the 9th. Rafael Soriano retires the first two batters and then Swisher doubles. Next batter is the Grandy man and he reaches way out of the zone for a slider and pulls it over the 2nd baseman's head. Game is tied. Posada comes up and crushes a meatball into the stands.

It didn't really make me jump out of my seat, but I've heard some new commentary lines recently, which is really impressive. I've been playing off and on a good deal for months, almost a year now, and I'm still running across new commentary I've never heard before. That's just impressive.

The first one was in RTTS when I was pitching a game with my SP. I was throwing a gem, 1 H and 0 ER through 5 innings, and my club was giving me plenty of run support. We were up 7-0 at the start of the 6th inning and he says "We'll pick this one up at the top of the 6th, and the Orioles are down by a touchdown.|" I had to pause it and wonder if I had really just heard what I thought I did.

The other one wasn't really a line, but an event. During another RTTS game, I had just gotten the second out of the 7th inning, and it shows my CF for no apparent reason. He's looking off-screen and pointing at something, and the announcers start talking about how some guy has run onto the field and is running around naked, but security was tracking him down. It was just a little thing, and had no effect on gameplay, but it was awesome that they would include something like that.

Phillies franchise vs the Dodgers in the playoffs. Game 5 at home, down 3-2 bottom 9, 2 outs, nobody on base.

Howard belts an upper deck shot out of nowhere. Sadly I lost the series by losing that game 4-3 in 11 innings but that moment was awesome at the time.

mine definitly has to be my first career walk-off in rtts. I was with the mets it was in the world series againest the yankees it was the ninth inning with the bases loaded the score was 2-0 so a.j. burnett was still in the game. I started with the count 0-2 and i eventually got the count to 3-2 and fouled off a couple of pitchs then aj burnett threw a hanging curve which i smashed 447 feet. I was cheering my butt off.

I've had two. Walk off grand slam with Swisher, and the HR derby year one of my franchise. Me vs. A-Rod in the finals (I prefer creating myself and playing a franchise over RttS... Dunno why I just always have). I go first and hit 12. A-Rod hits four before he gets one out. Slows down though, and it eventually gets to 11 HR, 9 outs. I'm on my feet. He hits one. High. Far...

Off the top of the wall. Not sure why I got so excited just for the HR derby.

Being a bit of a Baseball novice my first win got me out of my seat in spectacular fashion.

Down 4-2 in the bottom of the 7th I was actually pretty happy with my effort as previously my pitching had been all over the place which had prevented me from playing full games previously and instead just playing RTTS.

Anyway a couple of singles followed by back to back strikeouts in the 7th left me not expecting much only for my next guy at bat (names escape me at the moment) to absolutely nail one over RF for a 3 run HR and I close out the game to win 5-4
