I believe they can change the years on the contract but not the $$$ portion of it

White Sox acquire Lars Anderson from the Blue Jays for cash. Second time in like a month we've picked the kid up. I like the move tho.

I guess can never have a problem with getting a former prospect with MLB experience without giving up any actual players for. Just hope wasn't too much cash given up.

I just wish we could get an impact left handed bat for the club and then immediately trade Adam Dunn. I can't stand the guy who has maybe the longest swing I've ever seen and can't seem to hit the ball consistantly since coming to chicago

I heard about that yesterday, but I didn't have the time to get on here and post it, plus I already submitted the rosters. I did manage to tell RidinDwnKingsley about it, so hopefully he switches him before the release.

It's pretty interesting. The Sox are loaded (and when I say loaded, I mean quantity, not quality) at 1B. Ruiz, and Gallagher must have been released, because Loman is sure to start at Charlotte, and Wilkins is going to be in Birmingham. You add Bell and Morel at Charlotte, and the lineup starts getting crammed. I really wish they would announce who out of the organization, because I come up with well over 25 guys who should be in Triple-A. Don't even get me started on that starting rotation.

He got released back in October. Was never going to cut it as a 3B, and injuries really hit him hard the last few years.

Minor updates: Randy Ruiz was released, and I found out from Trevor Reckling himself that he will stay in extended ST.
