I guess its just all about keeping a good eye at the plate and waiting on your pitches because i just played with my original sliders and scored 9 runs lol.. Most games i score a lousy 2 to 3 runs though

Hey Poker, Just wanted to say thanks for all the time it took to come up with these sliders. I know I don't have the patience to sit there and tweak them accordingly. I love the pitching! Actually get walked! As I was a free swinger, I now have to be patient, hard to do at first but getting there. Thanks again!

I agree. So far, 3-1 with the Ms. 2nd game against A's was 1-1 going into 6th, but after figuring out the pitchers timing and waiting out a couple walks in a row, the A's went to the bullpen. After that, my bats came alive and I scored 10 more runs by the end.

Another thing, I dropped my pitch speed a couple of notches and turned the strike zone on. With those changes, I found myself being able to determine between balls and strikes a little better. Not sure exactly where my pitch speed is at, but it reminds me alot more of MVP 05 (w/o the colors).

Glad you like the sliders.. Lol i need to learn more patience as well because i usally swing at every pitch unless i make a conscience effort not to swing at junk.

Do you find that it's too easy to strike the computer out on these settings? I'm starting to think that skill slider is the key to CPU offense. It seems to effect contact and power. It seems like most people are having success by putting it in the middle somewhere and having a power/contact number average somewhere in the 20's. I am still a bit confused at how these numbers work together. I don't understand the point of the skill slider in the first place.
