Re: EA Boss Not Happy With Madden Sales....

The NHL franchise that has won 19 sports game of the year awards over the past two years. Just think if madden had Dev's like that what this game could really become. If he is truly not happy its time to make changes.

I know for sure I will not buy this game next year until I hear the reviews and see what the complaints are first to see if its worth it. I have finally learned my lesson to not buy it right away. And it looks like this year many others already learned.

There wasn't enough changes in the game to warrant a purchase this year for me. They still don't have a decent running game, blocking, or route based passing. I can't hand over $60 until they catch up with 2K Sports in those areas. Still, I can respect the direction the game's going and the changes they are making.

Re: EA Boss Not Happy With Madden Sales....

I am very happy with the sales.

Anything that can try to justify EA getting rid of the exclusive rights is fine by me. Maybe its all a dream, but its one I am still having.

Im sick of Madden football . Next gen Madden has still not even been able to compete with itself outside of the graphics department.

Just think, in another 3 years or so we will all be getting an Xbox 720 or PS4 and here we go again with subpar football games.

The excuses will be the standard " It will take them a few years to rebuild the engine or whatnot".

Im sick of waiting for a good football game, give me a choice again.

Ive voted for change with my wallet and it appears quite a few more have as well, its only a matter of time.

EA Boss not happy with declining sales.... Yeah probably because his sales are declining. what boss is ever happy with declining sales?!?!? LOL Please tell me you guys didn't think this was "Big News" WE even got some clown to try and throw in a shot at the government. The entertainment value at OS is why I keep coming back, it sure ain't for the intellectually enlightening social commentary.

SIMPLY AWESOME!!!

The only way to see REAL BIG gains and a FULLY FLESHED out product is to hit EA in the wallett. I like Madden 10 alot, but the LINGERING issues on top of the glitches and bugs, mmake it hard to LOVE.

Hope this sheds some light on some serious issues which need to be fixed.

Best news I've seen on this front in a long time. I wonder how they feel about NCAA football sales?

I saw some lame excuses the other day about how "oh it was because it was on less platforms" and rubbish like that. They wish.

Folks, it takes time, but when a lot of people go to the well enough times and the product isn't what its supposed to be they go away and the word of mouth spreads.

All of us that have been griping since 07 here on this board and abroad...we made a difference. Maybe someone's attention has finally been grabbed.

It's that simple. And obviously to an increasing and undeniable degree. And I know it isn't confined to just Madden. I guarantee you that NCAA Football sales have probably declined as well.

whats great is Madden 10 convinced me not to buy Madden 11. If this dev team "did everything possible" and took this to new heights, and Madden 10 is the greatest game on next gen, then its just not the game for me. I cant say anything else. The game is just not for me, I think its broken, it stinks and is not worth 60 bucks. plain and simple.
