Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders

No guys, screwed up commentary= glitched sliders= Not accurate results!

I could deal with them saying the wrong thing if I got the most outstanding game ever, but I've played thru it n noticed other things go crazy during the game.. Tryst me, I've logged about 24 hours over the past 3 days..

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders

Also pm- during my 10 hour testing spree last night which lasted from 7 pm to 5 am... I did play various combinations of your front page sliders (trying to find a working running game) I'm sorry, but they didn't work... I'm not sure why... I was willing to go away from the zero reaction running settings I had, but it only reinforced my belief that they're the best way to go.. Hopefully u can help ke work the numbers I posted a few posts back on the previous page.. Thanks

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders

OMFG PM, I think you nailed it ! Just had my best game ever. Everything felt so right, both teams had to fight for every inches on the field. It was awesome !

The only thing I changed from your last set was:

...HUM QBA from 18 (Newton) to 22, which allows me to have slightly better accuracy when throwing on the run, allows me to use (carefully though) lead passing, and be a bit more accurate on medium/deep throws that always seemed to be strangely innacurate at 18, leading to a lot of interceptions.

..****N Defense for both HUM and CPU are set at 18/15/17, which gave me a very "organic" (for lack of better words) running game on both sides. Didn't feel that way with tackling at 20, and for some reasons, it didn't feel as good as it was with tackling back at 15 (maybe because of the increase in PBK, but I don't undertand why that would affect the running game). An increase of +3 in Block Shedding didn't seem to hurt the sack ratio, nor the ability of the CPU Quarterback to find an open receiver down the field. However, I think it may have forced him to check for his shorter option a couple of times, which is nice (it sometimes felt he was throwing down field a bit too much with Block Shed at 12). The running game was extremely competitive, and setting the Tackling at 17 made it even better in my opinion than what it was before (Beason rarely miss a tackle now, but my corners would get beat down by power runner as it should be).

*Note: Also, I don't know if you still want to include an "average CPU QBA" for those who don't want to use the chart, but I think it should be set at 82, which is the average of the current 32 NFL Quarterbacks according to your chart. You used to have it at 78, which was the average of the whole league, but having it that way pretty much downgrades all the QB you're usually facing in Franchise Mode (unless injuries). Just thought I would share that thought...

Anyway, here are the stats from my game...

Out of the plays listed above...
- G.Olsen TD pass happened when the Cards blitz both safeties, allowing Olsen to be completely open in the middle of the field.
- P.Peterson interception was great. Smith was open, but just like last time, Peterson, who was dropping in zone coverage, reacted quickly to jump in front of the ball just as Smith was about to catch it.
- L.Fitzgerald TD was running a short curl route on the right side, Gamble missed his tackle, leaving an open field to Fitzgerald.
- D.Williams finally broke one after being limited to 3-4 yards run the entire game.
- R.Williams TD happened after Kolb reached Doucet for 54 yards on 3rd & 21 at their own 20 with 5:19 remaining in the 4th, and the score 17-14. A couple of plays later, Williams reached the endzone.
- S.Smith TD was a deep throw (with slight lead passing) against zone coverage. Wilson did his best to catch up to him, but couldn't match Smith's speed.

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders

PM, sorry if this been asked before, but trawling through 144 pages seemed an effort

For franchise mode, is SET 1 ok to use, making sure I change the CPU QBA depending on who I am facing or with Set 1 would it not SIM correctly the other 30 teams games that week. (i only control 1 team).

Or should i use SET 2 for franchise mode.

Thanks.
