Lots of drops with these and most sliders. Although, to me it's because Madden doesn't differentiate from drops and hitting the WRs hands....

Really? I don't have trouble with too many drops. I get a realistic amount per season.. None of my WRs are no where near the top with drops and neither are my friends. You can probably bump the catching up to 50 if u keep having that problem but you won't hardly see any drops from the USER. U definitely need to have the USER accuracy on 10 with the USER catching at 50.

Although, it might be because I throw a lot of balls into coverage. However, even then, they should not always catch it, but not drop it...


Anyways, these sliders are PERFECT, except for DL play. Defense is challenging, and I get good pressure with the Jets, but my DL always get pushing far back on run plays and can't shed the block and get thrown to the ground about 3 times per pass. Any ideas why? I really want to use these sliders, but when I have a DT that has 90 speed, 94 strength, 98 power moves, 86 finesse moves, and 94 block shedding that can't break any blocks, I can't. Usually it wouldn't be a problem, but he's the key to my pressure defense.

I really don't be having that problem at all with the drops.. I actually thought about dropping it to 40 but I'm gonna hold off on that for a while. Just bump it up to 50. You'll notice alot more specatular catches in traffic with hardly any drops. See how that works for a few games.

This is just how EA has the animation set up on this game for some reason with the CPUs Oline slapping the USER Dline around even with the CPUs pass blocking on 0 like I have it. At the end of the day you should still get your stats with the Dline. But try these USER settings-30passreaction 30INTs and 15passrush.. See how that works for a few games and let me know how it goes. Post some stats from some of your games when you get a chance so I can see what it looks like.

Here's a setting you can use for the run defense. Hopefully it don't make the run defense to easy for you. I'm handling the CPUs run with the setting the way I have it. But you can try these setting right here if you wanna a little more DT penetration..

USER-Rush Defense
rush reaction-0
blockshedding-10
tackling-50

CPU-Rushing offense
runblocking-75-85
Leave everything else the same..

You should start getting good penetration from you DT with it like this. Slowly move the CPUs runblocking up if it gets too easy with it right here or slowly move it down if its still hard. Like I said earliar this is just how Madden has the animations set up where the USER Dline gets slapped around a few times a game by the CPUs line but I still get busy with my DTs. They end up getting a couple of tackles per game or hold up the CPUs Offensive line so my LBs can fly through.

ok overall im having the best games of my life HOWEVER its really bothering me that i cant get sacks with my dline and lbs( like the other poster).....ive tried them both on play now (as is roster updates) and in franchise (where my line and backers are monsters) but still its a rare occasion and the only players i do get sacks with is my mlb sometimes and may ss.....ive tried the 30/30/15 as suggested and it has helped however it feels as though at that level the cpu loses some of its bit which I DONT WANT because i love the challege so wat do u suggest i was thinking of trying it 25/25/25 or 25/35/15 or 25/30/20 OR since i run on slow was thinking about bumping it up to normal with 30/30/15

I will be posting stats soon, however it must be noted that I am using the Jets plus a 99-rated DT and Asomougha, so my defense is going to be beast...

Yea sacks is always gonna be an issue to some people.. They just made the CPUs pass blocking too much on an all-madden level for some reason even with there pass blocking on 0 like I have it but I still get my sacks. I think I have around 10 with Tuck and 7 with Osi and about 4 with Boley and Bulluck and like 2 each with Kiwanuka and Pierre-Paul with a couple of guys with 1. I'm like in week 11. I call alot of man blitz where I'm bring 6 out of 4-3. I'm bring both OLBs with 4 man rush and out of nickel I'm picking something similiar. I seem to get alot of sacks from those plays but you take the chance of getting burnt. I also get alot of coverage sacks out of dollar or dime with my Dline but it aint easy.

I don't think bumping it up to normal will make a difference but you can try. Maybe bumping the threshold down might help a little bit if you don't have it low already. Yea try 25-30-20 for a few of games and see what happen.

What team are you using and what kind of defensive plays are you calling to get pressure?
