Has safety play improved well enough to play Zone D successfully? Kinda sticking to man D this year because zones get abused because safeties do weird things.

Played my first game with the new tuning and they definitely made some nice changes. It's only one game but I had two picks by my deep safety and he actually looked intelligent in what he was doing.

They also definitely changed something with the WR catching. I've had my settings with CPU at 40 lately and they never just flat out dropped passes and in the game I just played they must have had 5+ drops. It seems like they may have buffed the pass reaction as well because I seeing DB's be a ton more aggressive all around, not just the safeties. It was night and day between what I was dealing with before and in such a good way. I got robo'd by Dalton last night for 22-27 and Cutler was 18-38 against me just now on the same settings. Hopefully this will continue so I have to adjust my settings again but this feels like a really positive update.

Also, I don't know if it was anything but I actually had more success going downfield than before. I had an extremely hard time having any kind of success deep but I had two completions in the game to Maclin that were extremely rare before. Most likely nothing but I thought it was interesting.

Online H2H, great defense! Is this the result of the tuning update? I was expecting the LB to let the WR get past him.

I saw ZERO 1 handed catch attempts which is rare for roddy white and Julio jones. I normally see about 3 per game based on the way I play, but saw no attempts. It was a good, close game. I don't have any complaints, yet. But, interesting that the game felt a little different and def felt a little tougher to pass. Only 1 sample size, though.

How do u replay a cloud save game? Mine wouldn't let me in, kept giving me the servers error. And now if I go to fc it asks for cloud or offline, as it did before I started the cf.

GMSS, are playing on all madden or all pro also what speed are you playing , normal or slow and last what speed thresh do you have it set at?

I wonder if people will see different results with the new tuning with different settings.

Re: Madden NFL 16 Tuning Update Arrives, Tunes Risk/Reward Factor in WR/DB Interactio

I've been playing this morning, with and without the tuner. These are my observations:

To me the game feels more stiff, rigid with the tuner than without. It is difficult to explain, but it definitely feels different.

With the tuner, I am seeing kick offs sail out of bounds. The kickers don't seem to have the same accuracy. I'm not sure this is a good thing or bad.

This an odd one: test games have been Seattle vs Seattle. I am using the same roster for games with and without the tuner. With the tuner, SEA has a team rating of 87' while without the tuner, same roster, a rating of 91.

So strange

In any case, I am leaning towards the better game without the tuner. Sorry online guys... Eh, not really

I have to do more testing but I agree the gameplay was more organic before the tuner. With the tuner the run game seems more jerky and less fluid. Also it seemed to affect my run blocking making the slider ineffective.. I drop my sliderv-10 with the same results.. IDK... I had my line play almost perfect before the tuner now I can run Iso all day..

I personally didn't download the tuner update because I thought it was fine. But that is just me.
