Actually renting is a far better barometer than playing any demo.

As previously mentioned, the demo itself is an older build of the game and does not give an accurate representation of the game.

Anyone who is truly on the fence about a game should not be basing their final decision on a demo.

In my opinion the final build was always better than the demo, so I always used the demos to make my decision with NCAA or Madden and skipped a few years of each game thanks to the demos. However, I understand where you are coming from and in no way am I trying to argue you are wrong.

Outstanding response. I think especially with the current generation of consoles it's easier than ever. (Especially with PS4), Mark Cerny built an AMAZING machine, and Sony's using it to it's full potential with Live from PS, and Twitch as well as other things RIGHT ON THE CONSOLE! I mean COME ON, you can sit and use your console to watch videos in order to decide on what your going to do. You're on the fence about Madden? Then on August 26th, watch live streams from people with the game and then browse here and get other peoples opinions, and go from there. I mean how easy do they have to make it nowadays. If we're lucky, Tiburon will do what Sony San Diego did with the Show, and the devs will twitch a day or 2 before release with the retail copy. *Hint hint guys* lol.

I appreciate that and I know you aren't trying to argue but do you realize how little sense your statement makes?

If you are admitting that you realize the demo is never as good as the final build how have you decided to not buy based on something that you admit might not be as good as the actual game?

Smart business move to try to take advantage of Sony's passing on the Access deal.
I seriously doubt that Microsoft paid EA anything as EA Access is something that EA has wanted to do for a while and they offered it to Sony but they declined it. EA wanted EA Access on BOTH consoles. Can't speak for anyone else but I can definitely say that I would never ever trade or sell my PS4 for an Xbox One just for EA Access. For me, that would be a horrible decision.

I'm good waiting for 15 launch day.
That trade in offer is definitely a good one. I'm a GCU member so including the 20% off and $10 reward zone cert., Madden will end up costing me $38 plus tax so no demo equals no big deal for me.

That's unfortunate that we won't have a demo but that won't stop me from picking up my copy on the 26th. I can see both sides of why this is good or not. Either way I'm in my 2 week countdown mode..

Re: Looks Like No Madden NFL 15 Demo?

Yea i will just gamefly it or catch it redbox first. Its a hassle but nothing insurmountable. As with everyone else i can't rmr the last time a demo came out for a game, it just seems like the industry as a whole is moving away from them.

I had a feeling this was gonna be the case when they announced EA Access.
