But over the last couple days I've been able to play a little more, but I certainly don't have much interest when scores are that low. It was my biggest complaint about tw and now it appears the same here. Not trying to rip on the game, I enjoy it much more than tw, but if scores are that low, I guess I'll just stick to myself as I did with tw.

I don't know what goes on nowadays, if ppl have nothing but time to play games or what. Hopefully there can be someway of trying to keep some form of decent competition. It's usually the same reason why I don't play anything online.
Who knows maybe I'll be able to just find a smaller group of guys to play against where we are closer to the same competition.
I mean I'm all for playing against ppl that are better than me (usually helps me get better) but by the same token I'd like to at least be competitive... Lol
Keep in mind we're running 5 leagues. There's bound to be one that fits your skill level. The Champions Tour is an open league that no PGA or Web.com tour card holder can play on. The European Tour is an open tour that will have a sprinkling of PGA players or those that choose to make that tour their home base. There will be something for every skill level.

EDIT: rheller mentioned the same thing above me - missed it but his point is the same as the one I just made.

Firstly, I'm not accusing any one at OS or associated with this tour of cheating in any way.

I agree that some of these scores are disheartening, not to mention, unrealistic!

With that being said, there are ways to guarantee yourself of 100% accuracy on every shot via a controller attachment/modification. Then it just comes down to a math game and making appropriate adjustments with the wind and on the greens.
The thing I like most about this game is how unforgiving the shot meter is in terms of missing the perfect swing. At least from my experience and my scores should support that LOL

I have never used anything like that myself but an online friend was telling me about this a few years back. I'm sure many of the insanely low scores on the TW games of the past, and quite possibly this game are helped out by this type of cheat.

Personally I don't see the fun in doing that but I know there are plenty of people out there who have to win, in any way possible.

Keep in mind that if any of the leaders shoot straight shots (in red cone) 100% of the time we'll be removing them from the leaderboard

Just curious, is there a way to see this? Can you watch replays of their rounds somehow that shows the meter?

Oh wait... I'm assuming ghost balls and playing turn based to see their golfer maybe? I did a turn based thing with a ghost ball one time for a few holes but don't recall if the meter showed, hmmm

Yes ghost balls is one way but most likely we'll be working closely with HB and their data to make sure we are as accurate as possible.

I understand, I certainly didn't think you were necessarily accusing anyone here of cheating. I just never heard of such a thing before.
Yes sadly it amazes me the extent ppl go to to win a game online, it's pretty ridiculous imo.
Your scores...? Lol yes sadly iirc my scores were just below yours... Lol
