My own Facebook posts from past years reminded me that The Dark Knight released ten years ago today.

When this first came out I said this would be one of the most influential films of today. I don't think I was wrong by that one bit.

EDIT: Upon checking to see if sites are talking about this, I found out that it will have a 70mm IMAX re-release in four theaters:

The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won two, including a posthumous supporting actor Oscar for Heath Ledger’s memorable performance as the Joker.

With TDK coming up on its 12-year anniversary and Nolan's new film releasing soon (it should have been coming out this Friday, if not for the pandemic), I re-watched this movie and then had a sudden urge to make a brief video essay on my favorite line in this film.
