I feel your pain. My most recent match vs. NY Red Bulls ended in a 1-0 victory, though I rang it off the post at least 4 times in the match. The Red Bulls side came out firing in the opening 15 minutes and really put my squad on their heels. Luckily my keeper Sean Johnson made some exceptional saves to keep the game level. Finally connected on a beautiful through-ball to Chris Rolfe, drew the keeper out and made a soft touch to Wells Thompson as the keeper made his slide for an easy goal. My Chicago Fire club is now 5-1-0, which is due in large part to the outstanding defense my squad has played to open the season. I only have 8 goals for through 6 matches, 1 goal against. Leeds United, January transfer window - 2012-13

After a very bright start the season hasn't gone to plan, dropping a lot of points and currently sitting 6th with a record of 16-8-7 (56 pts) and I felt that Kenny and Ashdown were letting in too many goals. I went out and purchased Alex McCarthy from Reading (71) for 1.4m and he seems to be stopping a lot more shots in the short time he's been at the club.

Alan Tate returned to Swansea and Robbie Rogers returned from Stevenage before being released by me. Charlie Taylor was loaned to MK Dons, Dominic Poleon to Aldershot and sold Luke Varney to Ipswich for 230,000.

The rest of the squad I'm pretty happy with and believe I can still push up into the top 2 (Cardiff are sitting on 63).

My strikers are now consisted of; LW Neymar, C Suarez, RW L. Velazquez (Youth). Benched Downing because he went from an 83 to an 80 over the summer break. 30 years old. Sterling will be benched as well until I can loan him or sell him.

So I mentioned a while back about San Jose being bought buy some billionaire owners in my first season. I was browsing through available jobs, and they were on there. They have $69 million in transfer funds!!! That's insane for an MLS team. Unfortunately for them, they are sitting in last place at the moment because they haven't spent any of that since they got it. They could have the league's best team spending half of that easily.

I can't wait to get to level 13 (almost to level 12 now) so I can get the financial takeover for my SC Bastia career. I'm tired of $8-$5M budgets.

So the super ST I cheated and signed as a free agent is playing extremely well for me. He is 2nd in the MLS with 11 goals. Naturally I'm getting a bunch of offers for him. Didn't really want to let him go so I counter offered insane amounts, and then Bayern comes back with a counter offer of $26 million...

What to do, what to do....

Keep in mind this guy has improved so much he's now a 77 rated player at 19.

Having a blast in my Bradford City career. Bringing them back into the EPL is a harder task than I thought lol. Through 12 games I'm in 7th place and only 3 points separates me from dropping to 12th. I think I actually enjoy bringing up a lower-tier team up from the bottom then just starting off right away as an EPL team
