I seen a couple of times where QB stepped up in the pocket.
There was one play where I got great pressure and had a chance to sack him. He scrambled around then moved out and threw a wide open pass for a TD. It was a great play

The PA comments confuse me. I have ran PA dozens of times on heisman and only been sacked once.

ALso, whoever said they cant run the read option in the demo, are you positive? In my last 3 games with Oregon I have had a 50+ yard run with either THomas or LMJ on a read option play. This is on heisman

That would be me and yes I'm positive.

The entire running game from the shotgun just doesn't seem right to me.

For me it's either a big gain or there are 5 defenders in the backfield within seconds.

I just played it again. I noticed that when I ran read option from uh, I dont know the word, like, "heavy shotgun formations" you know like Oregon has with shotgun ace or whatever, less than 3 WRs on the field, the defense stopped it more often, but out of the spread, 4 WR sets, it seems to pop open quite often when the D is spread out.

You are right about other option plays. I can't seem to run a straight power option or load option at all. I run triple out of shotgun and it worked fairly well but only because my pitch man broke a tackle and scampered for 8 yards.

I have had a lot of fun playing with Oregon on heisman. I have played user games against my roommate and we both tried running a lot of shotgun runs on each other and it worked well there too...

But the tradition option plays seem a little borked

What I mean by the Read Option not working completely right is..

I can hand it off to a HB and get significant gains occasionally, but It seems like the option to keep it is NEVER a wise decision. The defense just doesn't seem to make the wrong move and go for the HB and leave the chance to run with the QB.

I'm not expecting to be able to run every down with the QB, but occasionally I should be able to get a defender to bite on the HB run and keep it for some yardage.

I am definitely not trying to argue with you, no doubt in my mind you have seen what you have seen and your concerns are legit. I watched my roommate score on a 57 yard read option keeper with Thomas a minute ago on heisman, but, I admit I haven't kept track of how often I ahve seen it handed off or kept so maybe the ratio is a bit whacky.

Hopefully this gets tuned a bit.
