My impressions...

Running is more fluid. All motions seem to be more fluid. I like it.

Running option plays seems to be impossible. Whether it's the read option, triple option, load option or speed option. Even when I have the numbers on a side of the field the option is running towards, it's like the safeties and linebackers are to that side and in the backfield before either my QB or my RB can get upfield at all. I think I've ran one option play for a gain so far. This is concerning to me because I always use Navy in a dynasty and in RTG and if the option is impossible to run...then...yea. There has been about 9 times out of 10 on read options where I've read the DE correctly (hand it off if he stays, keep it if he crashes down towards the RB) and no matter what, he makes the tackle anyway. If I keep it when he crashes down on the RB, he wheels around in a tenth of a second and grabs the QB anyway. If he stays and I hand it off, he takes one step towards the QB and then dives and gets the RB anyway. I feel like there's no way to win.

Defense seems pretty easy so far, IMO. I like that I can get pressure, but the CPU QB's keep missing every throw. I think in five games the CPU has completed maybe seven passes. It seems like 80% of pass plays result in the QB throwing the ball almost into the stands, whether being pressured or not.

I'm liking the demo... Alot of sacks for both cpu and user when I've played. And even though the sacks are up... the blocking seems to be better, so that's good. Tackling is way better now and I haven't noticed warping or suctioning anymore. Not too thrilled with the new team entrances... All those extra animals and drums were a waste to me. They should have spent that time and made the jerseys and skin a little more realistic... they look like rubber to me. Presentation is better, I love the coaching carousel, and the online dynasty should be awesome. Overall the game plays so much smoother and I'm happy. (PS3 version)

i will say the look of the game is nice But i have had my FS and SS run right by and do nothing when the ball is in the air. they Don't try and knock it down or even tackle the WR after they let him catch it.

the DE's will get pass the O-Line if you even try to get outside the pocket, way too many drops balls.

I disagree, I've seen smarter AI, and better RB AI from the demo. Plus, custom playbooks are what I'm looking for.

i see a lot of people say PA is still not fixed but most of the time i run a PA play i have enough time to get the ball off.

Something is off about Oregons offense. Its like Jame dosent have that burst of speed we see in real life. He dosent just blow past people like he does irl.

They really have to work on the crowd next year. With all the focus on entrances, bands, and the whole college football atmosphere the crowd need to be a major area of focus. For example before you play a game with FSU when Renegade is planting the spear in midfield, in the demo the crowd is almost silent or it is as if you are standing 5 blocks away listing to the crowd. The crowd dont seem excited at all. They just dont get loud. Then after he throws the spear down is when the crowd start the war chant. They should be doing it as Renegade runs onto the field.
There are also times during the game where the crowd is just dead. Now at any major top notch d1 football school like texas or fsu there will be no times during the game where the crowd is dead unless the home team is getting blown out

Noticed that about James too. I kept calling plays specifically to get him in the open to see what I could do and he doesn't really do much of anything. Not that fast, doesn't break tackles, etc. Just seems like a below average RB to me.

my only gripe which i pray is fixed is where the qb throws the ball away unpressured when nobodys open when he could easily just tuck it and run..sometimes theyll just snap the ball and chuck it outta bounds without even dropping back

but i expect that to be fixed b/c i dont remember seeing it in the other vids from e3

I like that the CPU QB actually steps up in the pocket. Also when scrambling out the QB has to set its feet to throw ala 2K football.
