When I go back to work on Thursday night I'll jot down the leaders since 1901. How many players on the leaders list, would just the leader be okay or would you like more? Also what stat categories do you want listed?

It would be great if you could follow my favorite player, Carl Yastrzemski for me. If it would be no trouble, could you show me his daily line and his final stats at the end of each year please.

Koufax Sparkles In 3-2 Dodgers Victory
Connie Mack Stadium Phila,Pa.-Jim Bunning vs. Sandy Koufax, just the thought gives hitters nightmares and today's game proved why. Both pitchers were dominant but a fielding error on Bunning in the 9th opened the door for LA to squeeze through and take the game 3 to 2.Koufax went 8 strong innings and allowed 4 hits and 1 run while striking out 6.Reliever Bob Miller got the save.At the plate, the Dodgers were led by Willie Davis and Jimmy Coker who both hit solo home runs.as for Bunning,he went the full nine, allowing 9 hits and 3 runs(2 earned) while striking out 8.His record falls to 5-4.Dick Allen had 2 of the Phils 5 hits and an RBI.Here's the box score.

Wednesday June 3,1964
Phils Win A Wild One 10-6
Connie Mack Stadium-No pitcher was safe today,as the Phillies and Dodgers combined for 28 hits and 16 runs in the Phils 10-6 victory.Phils starter Chris Short was uncharacteristicaly wild falling behind all day as he went 5 and two thirds allowing 9 hits and 5 earned runs while earning his 5th victory of the season.John Tsitouris and Rick Wise did a good job in relief limiting the Dodgers to just 4 hits and a run the rest of the way.At the plate,Johnny Callison,Dick Allen and Gene Alley each had 3 hits leading the way for Philly. For LA,starting pitcher Joe Moeller was bombed for 8 hits and 9 runs in just an inning and a third essentially giving the Phillies the game right there.Maury Wills and Willie "3 Dogg" Davis each had 3 hits for LA.Here's the box score.

Giants Score 2 In 9th To Stun Phillies
Connie Mack Stadium,Phila Pa.-If you like baseball, then you'll love it after a game like this.It was a see-saw affair that had a little bit of everything ending with the Giants on top 6-4.Although Jesus Alou and Jose Cardenal won the game with clutch back to back two out pinch hit doubles in the 9th inning, the game was really lost in the 7th,when the Phillies with a 3-2 lead made 2 more game killing errors that lead to 2 unearned runs and set the stage for what was to follow. This is becoming a little alarming to Phils head coach Gene Mauch who knows that in a tight race like this, every game counts and when you have a chance to beat Juan Marichal you do it or at least you try but you don't beat yourself which is what the Phils did today.Speaking of Marichal,he was his usual self today going 8 strong innings and allowing 12 hits but only 4 earned runs while striking out 7.He runs his record to an unbelievable 8-3 with a 1.96 ERA.At the plate, pesky Dick Howser was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI and a run scored.Willie McCovey also contributed with a mammoth homer in the 4th.For Philadelphia, starting pitcher John Boozer was good enough to win going 7 strong innings and allowing only 5 hits and 4 runs(2 earned) while striking out 4.He didn't factor into the decision.Ryne Duren was tagged with the loss in relief going two thirds of an inning and allowing 2 hits and 2 runs.Danny Cater and Johnny Callison continued their assault on the baseball with Callison going 3 for 5 with an RBI and a run scored and Cater going 2 for 4 with 2 RBI.The Phils with this loss now fall to 1-3 vs. the Giants this year. Here's the box score.
