Vikings Stadium Bill passed by the House

Great news Vikings fans. Our stadium has taken the next step towards becoming a reality. Last night, the House passed a bill that would allow the Vikings to build their new stadium on the site of the current Metrodome facility.

During the conference, many members argued that if they didn't pass this, the Vikings still wouldn't leave. I'm glad there was enough common sense in that room to disagree.

For over 100 plus years the Cubs have been hampered by a lingering "injury". They have won and choked or just been flat out awful. They have given hope and taken it away. Well, once again they have given hope to the faithful fans of Wrigley and this time it won't disappoint.

Well, the Minnesota Vikings have entered the Christian Ponder era. So far, so good.

The first game was against the best team in football and against maybe the Vikings biggest rival. Ponder handeled it quite nicely I thought. He put his team in a position to win and made some nice passes.

Just another week as a Vikings fan

Another week down, another week that could have been a good one. The Vikings are outscoring their opponents 34-7 in the first half this season, yet they are 0-2. However, is there some moments that can make a guy think this team has a chance? I think so. They have shown that they can compete with two teams that are probably going to be in a playoff hunt.
