This was a really tough pick, but I choose Chris Paul. (I choose him because I feel that the other guy I was considering may still be available when I choose again.) I'm surprised he's even still available. Paul is, arguably, the best all-around point guard of the past decade. Outstanding passer, can score when called upon, great defender. Also, he plays clutch when he's called upon.

# 32 Taur3asi3 @ Nov 11
I select Bill Walton. Not that you'd call this a peak or prime but from 76-78 before before the crippling, career derailing injuries Walton made All NBA Defensive 1st team twice over prime Jabbar, 1 All NBA 1st team over Prime Jabbar, and 1 All NBA 2nd team. One of the greatest shames in basketball history is that Walton was derailed in the process of winning his first of what would have been many MVPs

. Walton is known as being one of the smartest and one of the best, if not THE best big-man passer in history in addition to being a stud on the glass and among the greatest defensive bigs the league has ever seen. In that championship run Walton played prime Kareem to a standstill in the playoffs and averaged 18ppg, 15rpg, 5apg, and over 3 bpg. All this and he completely reinvented himself with Boston to win a 6th man award and win another championship being an enthusiastic reserve in what would be a "catch lightning in a bottle" season with him playing a career high 80 games. Without injuries there is potential for Bill Walton to go down as a GOAT candidate on par with Michael, Kareem, and Wilt. Also, the best retired player to ever sit behind a broadcast table.

THROW IT DOWN BIG MAN, THROW IT DOWN!

i am astounded, legitimately astounded that this player has fallen to me. jerry west said, "he was one of the most spectacular shooters the game has ever known. i hear people talking about forwards today and i haven't seen many that can compare with him."

i'm talking abouta man who averages the 4th most points per game (27.4) in nba history and the 9th most rebounds per game (13.5). the first high flyer the nba had ever seen.

mr. elgin baylor.

and to kick off the fourth round, i'm going to select a strong power forward with a feathery touch from mid-range and could bang in the paint. a solid defender, tenacious rebounder and gifted scorer, i select none other than the big e, elvin hayes.

Again I'm foiled by the person picking before me. Baylor was going to be my next choice, Great pick.

My next choice is going to be one of the coolest athletes in the history of organized professional sports Walt "Clyde" Frazier. As the backcourt mate of Jerry West I now have 2 of the best defensive guards in league history with Walt having 7 All NBA Defensive 1st teams to go with his 4 All NBA 1st teams and 2 All NBA 2nd teams. Walt helped lead the Knicks to 2 titles during his career including numerous clutch performances, such as a 36 point 19 assist eruption in the "Willis Reed Game" game 7 against the Lakers in 1970. With Walt and West as the back court both can bring the ball up and run the offense, in addition to running it through Walton, and I believe that they can clamp down any opposing back court and Walton prowling inside will stop anyone who manages to get past them. With Pettit being able hit out to 18 feet it opens up the floor and allows Clyde (and West) to do some "slicing and dicing" and "dishing and swishing" and also grant them room to post up the opposing player.

well, Taur3asi3 & the15hunter, you have managed to choose the 2 guys I was considering for this pick (Walton & Baylor). I came REALLY close to taking Baylor with my last pick; so close that I had typed up my explanation and was about to post it. Anyway, with my 4th pick (& the 39th overall), I need a scorer, but not a selfish or 1 dimensional player. That being said, I choose Kevin Durant.I was a little hesitant to choose him because that gives me 3 younger guys, but what can I say..they're good, and have proven that they can perform under today's NBA rules! Durant can score from anywhere and everywhere at an efficient level. He's a good rebounder, and over the past couple of years, he's become a quietly solid shot blocker.

# 36 Dice @ Nov 12
With my pick, I'm going to select Joe Dumars. An excellent clutch shooter. Reliable scorer. And a super-star defender. So super-star, that Michael Jordan labeled him “The guy who played me the toughest”. Dumars wasn’t athletically gifted but he was deceptively strong for his size. He played a more ‘cerebral’ game. VERY intelligent, especially on the defensive end. He knew his opponents hot spots(without studying video on a player) and knew how to beat them to their spots to keep them from scoring. And in terms of him defending Jordan, he knew he couldn’t stop him one-on-one, so all he did was make him go to where the Piston’s help defense was.

One of the big reasons I picked Dumars was his ability to play off the ball offensively. With two super-star scorers in the post in Duncan and McHale and a super-star point guard in Robertson, Dumars would be a big compliment to those guys with his shooting and just knowing where to go offensively when the defense collapses on the others. Dumars would also compliment Duncan and McHale on the defense end as well.

# 37 iLLosophy @ Nov 12
I might be picking him too early, but he's too good to pass up right now. I'm going with Sam Jones. If you want to talk about clutch, guess what this guy's nickname was? "Mr. Clutch" Bill Russell stated, "In the seventh game of a championship series, I'll take Sam over any player who's ever walked on a court." Back in the day, a lot of times Shooting Guards were like left fielders, they did a lot of time standing around waiting for the ball to come to them, and only hustled occasionally. Sam Jones was very athletic and could run up and down the court as fast as anyone. He paved the road for slasher SG's like Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler. Also he was unguardable off the ball, setting the standard for guys like Rip Hamilton and Ray Allen to follow.

As far as fitting with the team Sam Jones played alongside guys like Bill Russell, John Havlieck, and a couple other jerseys hanging in the TD Garden. He can step up when his time is called, but he can also play as a 2nd/3rd option if that's what is needed for the team.

# 38 OSUFan_88 @ Nov 12
My next selection will be George Gervin. "The Iceman" and innovator of the finger roll, George was one of the best pure scorers of all time. His ability to score from anywhere on the court. Much like my last pick with Dr. J, George is a scorer, but unlike Dr.J, Iceman is deadly from basically everywhere.

# 39 wwharton @ Nov 12
First, I'll give props to the Chris Paul pick. In a different situation I think he'd already be mentioned with a bunch of the top guards.

With that said, my next pick is Clyde the Glide Drexler. He already has chemistry with both Barkley and Hakeem and even more with the Dream from their dominant days in college. Clyde was overshadowed by Jordan throughout his career but was one of the greatest 2 guards offensively and defensively. There aren't too many SGs I'd rather have so I'm really happy he was still available here.

# 40 JBH3 @ Nov 12
With my next pick I am selecting the Human Highlight Film, Dominique Wilkins. Nique gives me an athletic forward who can fill it up, take over the lions share of the scoring if needed, slash and draw the foul, and slow the game down in isolation. He also gives me 3pt option to complement Ray Allen.

# 41 Kashanova @ Nov 12
I'll be taking Reggie Miller, with the low spot options at my disposal, it should open up the floor for a great shooter like Reggie

# 42 da ThRONe @ Nov 13
With my 4th pick I'm taking Dennis Rodman. Every team needs somebody who gives a team something other then points. Rodman is the greatest garbage man in the league history.

# 43 AlexBrady @ Nov 14
With the last pick in the 4th round (48th overall) I am selecting Hal Greer. A dead-eye from mid range, he could also rebound, defend, pass, and finish through contact.

And with the 5th round pick (49th overall) I am selecting Dave DeBusschere. Incredibly strong and an outstanding individual defender. I also like him for his outstanding range, swift cutting, and his snappy passing.

# 44 da ThRONe @ Nov 14
With my 5th pick I'm selecting "Tiny" Nate Archibald. Need a PG and he's the best left on the boards. He is the typical scorer that can create. He help's take pressure off LeBron as my team ball handler.

# 45 Kashanova @ Nov 14
I'll be taking Alex English, an extremely underrated player who scored 25k in his career
