[Boxers and Boxing community need to support another boxing game]

Some say boxing is dead and some of these game producers(EA) are contributing to the hype because their lack of passion and knowledge of boxing translate into the product(Fight Night). Boxing is still making money and has million of fans worldwide. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the highest paid athlete two years in a row.
EA needs to stop blaming the sport of boxing and give the fans what they want and not what they ... Read More

Game producers have been saying for years a boxing game needs balance in order to be successful. Producers say they want a boxing game to be fair for everyone. What they are actually doing is taking away the realism, abilities, and uniqueness from boxers.
They alienate certain fans who expect a true to life boxing experience in a boxing game. The fan-base for realism and sim is larger than what they lead us to believe. There are many fans willing to give up balance for realism.

I can't see how this is true when all the arcade sports games are not selling and the stop making them. Companies now try to make hybrid games to appeal to both hardcore and casual with hybrid gameplay as little depth as possible. Companies need to realize their sports gaming demographic is older and expect more depth and realism.,

I know some will say Metacritic scores don't hold weight anymore but are these the people who want to believe what fits them. So, I did a search on Google to see where EA UFC stands compared to Fight Night Champion.

EA UFC PS4- Metascore 69

EA UFC Xbox One- Metascore 71

VS.

EA FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION Xbox 360- Metascore 86

EA FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION Playstation 3- Metascore 84

Now let's ... Read More

Support the boxing videogame campaign by signing the petition. One company said boxing is a niche sport which is very disrespectful to boxing fans and boxers.

A boxing videogame is a great way for a boxer to become a household name. It could make a hardcore fans out of a casual fan if the videogame is done correctly.

At the very end of the interview Hayes said there is nothing in the works for a future FightNight.

What kind of boxing videogame would hold your attention the most? Would it be a nearly ultra realistic boxing game with top notch graphic and depth like a text-sim manager game, a slightly over the top game with beautiful graphics that's basic, or an hybrid of both?

Please take this poll.

Why are people willing to pay the same price for a digital copy of a game? There is no excuse for a company to charge a consumer the same price they would charge a customer who buys a physical copy.
The material costs and other costs are eliminated. The company isn't giving the customers anything extra. Customers are downloading from a database or digital file. How is this worth the same as factory made products?!? Fans need to wake up and stop supporting this robbery!

I keep hearing or reading producers say too much depth and realism in a sports game is boring to the casual fan and games will not sell well. I don't see where they are digging this information from because there are sports games with depth and realism that are great sellers. MLB:The Show and NBA 2K are fan favorites be they casual or SIM fans.

It seems like slowly but for surely fans are being forced into the online world. Offline features and gameplay is going away or they are not getting any attention. Gaming companies are taking away offline freedom. Everyone isn't a online player or want to always play online.

Is it the popularity of the sport? Is it how well the sport is represented in a game or is it word of mouth? Please explain. I also would like to know what would keep you interested in a title and what would make you not buy a sports game.

Open letter to EA,NBA Live and Fight Night series

How's it going EA or anyone from the company willing to read this,
EA NBA Live has had many stumbles and fall over the years. Fight Night had a few too, but nothing compared to NBA Live. The overused saying from last generation systems was that this is a new system. So, I'm pretty sure we will hear it again until some major progress is made even though the systems had gaming companies and devs input.
I'm guessing you ... Read More
