NCAA Football 13 isn't a great game. It's just not. There are way too many things wrong with the title and way too much in context (aka the now antiquated physics within the game) to give this game too much credit. Of course, also just as big of a negative for the game are the things it could do great and doesn't and just settles in with good to merely solid: presentation, existing gameplay, dynasty mode, etc.

NCAA Football 13 is coming oh so very soon, and for the sake of openness and honesty, I've got a list of things I'm looking for in the game to really put it over the top this year.
Here's a few items from my rather long list:
- The gameplay has to feel fresh in some way. I can't play one or two games and feel like I've done this before. This worries me and it could easily be the case.

The new college football playoff will be bidding out it's host city much like the NFL does with the Super Bowl. Of course, this brings up the question of which cities will be looking to host the inagural game, here's a list of five possible suitors to the game:

I'll admit, NCAA Football 13 totally feels way too similar to NCAA 12 in so many ways. But there are some reasons to invest in the last of the old guard EA football games -- especially if you can find a discount somewhere.

It seems like a sport for many to hate on the EA Football franchises. And yes, with exclusivity locked up for both, I'm sure the reasons are solid (if not fundamentally flawed).
However, what is always surprising is despite the overwhelmingly strong voices of those who want to discount Madden and NCAA, most still plan to buy.

Let me be the first to say, I favor great sectional matchups like Alabama/Michigan and Oklahoma/Notre Dame which will be coming to a TV Screen near you this fall. They're great early season reminders of why college football is so great.

I'm sitting in beautiful Oklahoma today, 2000 miles from the E3 Press Conference of the "World's Worst Company" and preparing to watch it on my television. That's pretty cool.
