Bulls hit a wall
John Wall's performance the difference in Bulls loss
Bulls 101 Wizards 105

John Wall had his best game yet against Derrick Rose with 29 points.

The Chicago Bulls defense could not make enough stops to give them a chance to win Friday night against the Washington Wizards. The Bulls continue to struggle at the United Center. While the Bulls are an outrageous 10-0 on the road, they are 4-4 at home. After two straight losses, the Miami Heat (16-2) have overtaken the Bulls (14-4) for the best record in the NBA.

John Wall had his best outing against his point guard counter part, Derrick Rose. Wall went for 29 points while dishing out 6 assists. Rose on the other hand, had a tough night shooting. The Wiz alaso got a big double-double from Andray Blatche. He had 20 points and 10 boards.

Rip Hamilton returns to the Palace in Detroit Saturday night for the first time as a Bull. The Bulls have lost two straight and look to get back on track in Detroit.

12 game win streak snapped
Rose's three rims out at buzzer; Bulls lose
Bulls 102 Mavericks 105

Dirk led the Mavericks in scoring with 24 points.

The Chicago Bulls had their 12 game win streak snapped at the hands of the reigning champs, the Dallas Mavericks. It was a nail biter all the way through. It was a slug it out type game. A heavyweight-type basketball game with both teams going blow for blow. Dirk Nowitzki had it going Wednesday night with a double-double for 24 points and 11 boards. Jason Kidd had one of his more complete games of the season with 18 points, 9 assists, and 5 boards.

The Bulls had a shot to tie with 14.7 seconds left in regulation. Coach Thib's called an isolation for Derrick Rose. Rose began to drive, hop-stepped backwards for a three but it rimmed out. "It was a good look. Just rimmed out. Got to give it up for the Mavs, they played well." said Rose after the game. Joakim Noah had his best performance of the year with 21 points and 10 boards. Omer Asik returned to play after suffering a ligament tear in his foot. Bulls have a night off tomorrow but then have a back to back against Washington at home Friday and in Detroit Saturday. This will be Rip Hamilton's first return to Detroit since leaving. Maybe that will be the spark he needs to get going.

Joakim Noah dunks on Dirk Nowitzki Wednesday night.

Unstoppa-BULL
Rose's season high 38 points propels Bulls to win
Bulls 122 Rockets 90

Derrick Rose put up a season high 38 points against the Rockets.

Derrick Rose put together his best scoring night of the year against the Houston Rockets on Saturday night. Rose was shooting the lights out going 15-19 from the floor and 5-5 from the charity stripe. He managed to score 38 points. "My shot really felt good and the defense was giving me alot of openings. So I took em." said Rose.

Bulls also got a solid effort from Mr. Consistency Luol Deng. He had 19 points and filled up the stat sheet. Carlos Boozer had a tough shooting night (5-20) but still managed to put up a double-double. Coach Thibs surprised many fans with some early minutes for Brian Scalabrine in the second quarter. Scal came out and put up 8 second quarter points. The "Madhouse on Madison" was rocking to say the least.

Chicago Bulls
November Review

Chicago Bulls are off to one of the best starts since the Jordan era. So it is safe to say that November was a success. They are tied with the Miami Heat at 13-2 for the best record in the NBA. The Bulls are 3-2 at home with an outstanding 10-0 road record.

While Derrick Rose's scoring is down a little, his assists have jumped up. Tom Thibodeau said Derrick is running this offense better than at any other point since Thibs arrival. Rip Hamilton hasn't exactly wowed Bulls fans this year but has came up in big moments this year. Luol Deng is Thib's do it all guy. Deng is one of the most important guys on this team. That shows by Deng averaging the most minutes on the team. Carlos Boozer started slow but has really picked up his scoring, averaging 20.1 in his last six games. Joakim Noah is putting together a solid year being that high energy guy with lock down defense.

The "Bench Mobb" is up to their usual tricks. Taj Gibson has really started to pick up his play in the last few games. Taj picked up a double-double last week. Kyle Korver started slow but now has been knocking down threes consistently. Ronnie Brewer has played solid including a 21 point game against the Blazers. Omer Asik and C.J. Watson have been limited with injuries and both are expected back soon. Rookie Jimmy Butler has yet to see any extended time but is waiting patiently. Then there is the fan favorite, Brian "The White Mamba" Scalabrine. Scal is set in his role as Thib's assistant and ultimate teammate.

The season is young but is off to a promising start. The Bulls expect themselves to be in the playoffs. They are in it for the ultimate goal. They want an NBA championship.

Streaking!
Bulls return home and beat Spurs for 11 straight
Bulls 105 Spurs 90

Carlos Boozer pumps up the crowd at the UC Wednesday night.

The Chicago Bulls returned home with a bang Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs came into the contest a little banged up. While Tim Duncan was in the starting lineup, he did not play much due to a broken finger on his shooting hand. Dejaun Blair also played despite a sprained ankle. That didn't stop them from putting up a fight though. Spurs jumped out to a 33-25 lead after the first quarter. The Bulls tied it up at halftime 52-52. Bulls then came out in the second half strong outscoring the Spurs 29-20 in the third. That was the push they needed to close it out for a win.

With some of the Spurs big men banged up, Carlos Boozer took advantage down low scoring 27 points. Boozer really had a hot hand. Luol Deng played well scoring 15 of his 19 points in the second half. Derrick Rose had a tough game staying in foul trouble most of the night. John Lucas III came in and led the team well with 9 assists. "That is what this team is about. C.J. is hurt and D-Rose was in foul trouble. Next man up. I just came in and tried to find open guys." said Lucas after the game.

On another note, Center Dan Hicks was sent back to the D-League following the win. This news means we will likely see "The Turkish Hammer", Omer Asik return to the floor.

Bulls slip by Bucks
Bulls win tough one to extend winning streak to 10
Bulls 99 Bucks 94

Joakim Noah celebrates following the Bulls 99-94 win over the Bucks.

Well, the "circus trip" is finally over. The Bulls wrapped up their eight game road trip Saturday night with a win over the Bucks. It was the best "circus trip" in team history going 8-0. Chicago has now won ten in a row. They stand at 12-2 overall and are tied with the Phoenix Suns for the NBA's best record.

As for the match up with Milwaukee, it was close from start to finish. Chicago got four double-doubles, yes i said four double-doubles. Those came from Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, Joakim Noah, and Taj Gibson. They got a great effort from Taj and Korver off the bench. Korver's shot was money all night. "When Kyle has it going like he did tonight, it opens up the offense for everyone" said Rose.

Kyle Korver sparked the Bulls offense with 15 points off the bench.

The Bulls now have three days off to get some rest from the grueling road trip. They get back on the court against the Spurs Wednesday, November 30th.

9 IN A ROW
D-Rose leads Bulls past Pacers
Bulls 106 Pacers 78

Derrick Rose put on a clinic against the Pacers Friday night in Indy.

The Chicago Bulls have came out of the gates firing to start the season. They are on a nine game winning streak and now stand at 11-2 following a 106-78 drubbing of the Indiana Pacers. This is the best start Chicago has had since the Jordan era.

C.J. Watson went down at the end of the first quarter with a sprained ankle. It doesn't appear to be serious but he could miss a few games. This prompted Derrick Rose to play extra minutes. Rose led the Bulls to victory with 23 points and 16 assists. "Derrick was able to get his while keeping everybody else involved. I've been saying how he is really beginning to find that ratio of scoring and dishing out assists. Tonight showed it" said coach Tom Thibodeau.

C.J. Watson grabs his ankle after twisting it Friday night.

Rose kept the offense rolling all night. He got Carlos Boozer a lot of open looks. Booze put up 18 points and grabbed 11 boards. Luol Deng had 16 and Rip Hamilton had 15. Joakim Noah continues to be that spark plug with lock down defense. Noah snatched 11 rebounds with 5 steals and 3 blocks. He also picked up 8 points.

The Bulls end the circus trip tomorrow in Milwaukee. After that they are at home for four games.

Blowout in Denver
Bulls dominate short handed Nuggets
Bulls 106 Nuggets 69

Derrick Rose hangs on the rim after a throwing down a dunk.

The Denver Nuggets had all kinds of trouble with the Chicago Bulls Tuesday night. It looks like they'll be having trouble against the rest of the league as well. Last week their back up point guard, Andre Miller, went down with a broken jaw and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks. Then yesterday against the Clippers, Ty Lawson went down with a separated shoulder and he will now miss 2-4 weeks.

So the Nuggets were unable to call up a point guard in time for their match up with the Bulls Tuesday. They used Aaron Afflalo at the point and that turned out horrible for the Nuggets. Afflalo turned over the ball a whopping 15 times. The Bulls took quick advantage and built an early lead. The Bulls defense put on a strong performance highlighted by allowing only 11 points in the third quarter.

The offense was firing on all cylinders. Bulls had nine players with at least 8 or more points. Taj Gibson, who has started slowly this year had his best outing with 15 points and 9 boards off the bench. They got a total of 43 points off the bench. All five starters hit double figures. Next they travel to Indianapolis to take on the Pacers to renew their rivalry from last year's playoff. Bulls (10-2) have won eight in a row while Pacers (6-7) have won 2 in a row.

7 in a row
Bulls handle Jazz; Rip Hamilton surpasses 15,000 career points
Bulls 106 Jazz 94

Rip Hamilton surpasses 15,000 points with this score against the Jazz Monday night.

Rip Hamilton has had a very successful career in the NBA. It continued to blossom in Utah Monday night when Rip knocked down a jumper and surpassed 15,000 career points. "Yeah, its nice to be recognized but that is not why I'm continuing my career. Everyone on this team has one goal in mind and we don't worry to much about statistics" said Rip.

As for the game against the Jazz, it was rather one sided. The Bulls were ahead after the first quarter then had a big second quarter and were never really in trouble. Rose had his fourth straight double-double with 21 points and 11 assists. Boozer had another strong night with 20 points and 7 boards. One of the more consistent Bulls this year has been Luol Deng. He put together another well rounded game. Deng had 14 points, 8 boards, 7 assists, and 4 steals.

That makes it seven in a row for the streaking Bulls. They have three games left on the circus trip (@ DEN, @IND, @ MIL). Standing at 9-2, the Bulls are off to one of the best starts in a long, long time.

Luol Deng had another well rounded game with 14 points, 8 boards, 7 assists, and 4 steals.

Bulls get revenge in L.A.
Bulls in dominant form against the Clippers
Bulls 117 Clippers 96

Carlos Boozer had a strong night with 24 points and 6 boards.

The Chicago Bulls had arguably their best performance of the year against the Clippers in L.A. Saturday night. "It was definitely on our mind coming in here. They came in our house and beat us, so we had to return the favor" said Carlos Boozer when asked if they were thinking about their loss last week at the UC to the Clippers. Boozer gave Chicago a presence down low with 24 points on 12-17 shooting from the field.

Derrick Rose throws down another highlight dunk against the Clippers.

Derrick Rose continues to put together a strong season. He outplayed Chris Paul all night. Rose scored 28 points while dishing out 13 assists. Paul struggled with just 9 points. Clippers got a huge outing from "Big Shot Bob" Chauncey Billups. He went for 31 points and hit 5-7 from beyond the arc. Bulls (8-2) are now halfway through their road trip and have won six straight. Next up is the Utah Jazz (4-6) Monday night.

The masked man
Rip's best game as a Bull leads to win over Suns
Bulls 101 Suns 93

Rip Hamilton had his best game as a Bull scoring 23 points.

Phoenix (8-1) was the NBA's hottest team heading into their showdown with Chicago Friday night. Well, the streaking Bulls cooled them off with a 101-93 win. That makes it Chicago's fifth straight win. It was another big win on their eight game road trip. They also remain undefeated on the road at 5-0. "I'm happy with the way we've started this road trip. But were not even halfway done and its only going to get harder" said Tom Thibodeau.

Chicago got their best contribution of the year from Rip Hamilton. Rip shot the ball really well from the field going 10-13. "Derrick found me early tonight and got me going. I'm feeling more and more comfortable every night here" said Hamilton. The Bulls collectively shot well from the field at 53%. Derrick Rose scored 21 while dishing out 15 assists. Luol Deng continued his strong play with 17 points and 9 boards.

Bulls sign Dan Hicks from D-League

Dan Hicks comes in from the D-League to pick up Asik's minutes.

Omer Asik's MRI showed a torn ligament in his foot and he is expected to miss 1-2 weeks. To pick up his minutes the Bulls have signed center Dan Hicks. He has spent the past two years in the D-League after going undrafted. Hicks is 24 years of age, stands at 6'11" and weighs 255 pounds. He is a runnin' rebel from UNLV. "We believe Dan can come in and pick up the slack. This will be his first shot in the NBA after spending two years in the D-League. He is eager to get started" said GM Gar Forman. OT Thriller
Rose's three sends it to OT; Bulls top Blazers
Bulls 99 Blazers 92

Despite a poor shooting night, Derrick Rose hit a three to send it to OT.

It was a wild one in Portland on Wednesday night. If you take a quick peak at Derrick Rose's stat line you would say "wow, a triple-double." While he did record a triple-double, he had a very tough shooting night. So when it came down to :22 seconds and the shot clock about to go off, who else would take the shot but Derrick Rose. Rose hit a three in the final moments to send the game in over time. He was still able to make an impact on the game with that shot and his ability to find teammates for baskets.

Ronnie Brewer gave the Bulls a boost with 21 points off the bench.

Chicago got a big contribution from the bench in Ronnie Brewer. 'Chicago's finest brew' came in off the bench to score 21 points on 10-13 shooting from the field. "Thib's has confidence in each and every one of us. My number was called alot tonight and I had some shots fall for me" said Brewer. The Bulls also got big games from Luol Deng and Joakim Noah who both had double-doubles.

Joakim Noah finishes off an alley-oop from Derrick Rose.

Bulls win close one in D.C.
Noah's rebound and dunk seals win against Wiz

Bulls 88 Wizards 81

Joakim Noah grabs an offensive rebound and dunks to take the lead in the final minute.

"It was an off night for us. Definitely not happy with our performance" said Tom Thibodeau. This is why these Chicago Bulls have had success since his arrival. He is never satisfied and keeps his players on their toes. While the Bulls did beat the Wizards 88-81 Sunday night, it was a sloppy performance. On offense they did not move the ball as well as they usually do with only 15 assists. On the defensive side, they allowed the Wiz to shoot 50% from the field.

Carlos Boozer had a big second half Sunday night.

Joakim Noah made the play of the game with a rebound and dunk over Javale McGee to take the lead for good in the last minute. "That's my game. That's what I do. Hustle plays." said Noah after the game. Carlos Boozer made a big impact scoring 15 of his 18 points in the second half. Nick Young, a guy Chicago was looking at in the off season, had 22 points for the Wizards.
