This game was an interesting one and despite what the score says it was a Defensive game for the most part.

#7 Notre Dame (me) @ #16 Michigan (CPU)

The whole first half was a defensive battle no doubt with Notre Dame getting the only points in the first half with a First Quarter TD pass from T.Rees to TJ Jones. but Notre dame could have had a bigger lead after a deep pass was caught late in the half but then fumbled just before the endzone and Mich would recover so going into the locker room it was 7-0 Irish!

Second half had it all in this one, Notre Dame received and was on a drive when T.Rees threw his first and only pick of the day but it would cost the irish as Michigan would punch it in with a 37 yard pass from D.Gardner to J.Gallon for a touchdown so it was 7-7 early in the 3rd. But Notre Dame would answer the call with back to back unanswered touchdowns one being a 15 yd run by Carlisle and the other a 53 yard pass from Rees to Daniels on a 3rd down for six. But Michigan would not go away answering with a score late in the 3rd it making it 21-14 irish with the ball and on top. After a big play Atkinson III would run it in from 1 yard out to make the score 28-14 irish with 9 min to go in the game. Irish D would hold Michigan as they did all game and the Irish O would close it with a 30 yard pass from Rees to Robinson which would make the game the final score of 35-14 Irish!

After that big win in the big house notre dame will have not have long to celebrate as they will go on the road vs a 2-0 Purdue team but if they play as well as they did today @ Michigan I see them having no trouble.

Week 2

Played against #9 Florida and man were this dudes good. Gave me my first lose against the computer in this dynasty. They came out on FIRE. first kickoff to them Returned for a TD. (I super sim all special teams)
For miami Duke Johnson was out with a injury from last game and Morris came out struggling throwing 3 INTs in the first quarter and Florida would take advantage of all of my mistakes and go up 28-0 after 1 quarter. I was crushed of course but was not done. I would slowly get the passing game going and end up closing the lead to 35-14 Florida going into the locker room.
In the second half the Miami O would continue to struggle and end up having 5 tournovers and the closest miami ever got to getting back into the game was 12 points. but it was too little too late. as in the end Florida would cruise with a 55-43 win and remain unbeaten. Tyler Murphy did play the whole game and he was a key value not through the pass game but running the ball. The combo of him and Mack Brown was the reason they got out to a big lead and was able to stay ahead. It seemed as if everytime the D would finally stop them Morris would throw another costly pick. but i guess you can win em all.

Week 2

Just played one of the most interesting game ever on this game it was intense the whole way through. Georgia was playing without A.Murray who was injured during the Clemson game last week so Junior QB H.Mason would get the start and he would preform once again. Georgia jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead and being at home it wasnt looking good for South Car. Connor Shaw was struggling the first quarter he threw two picks. but the second quarter was a whole new ball game South Car tore off 24 unanswered points to take a 24-14 lead into the locker room. Georgia would Receive to start the second half though. It would go back at forth for a bit but then with about 6 min to go in the 3rd Mason threw a bomb to Conley to cut the Gamecock lead to 24-21. Gamecocks would struggle all third quarter and Georgia would get the ball back drive down and score and go up 28-24 with just a little over a minute remaining in the 3rd. South Car would answer back finally though with a big run from Davis who had over 200 yards rushing this game. Gamecocks would punch it in with a 30 yard Pass to their TE Anderson to regain the lead 31-28. Georgia would then score quickly in the 4th to give the dogs the lead 35-31 with 9 min to go in the game! But South Carolina would get back to their run game and get the lead 38-35 with about 6min to go. Georgia would get it to about their own 40 and be faced with a 4&5 with about 4min to go. Clowney would get pressure but Mason would get it off to an open man on the sideline but the WR could not get his foot in! Turnover on downs. Gamecocks would continue to beat the bulldogs on the ground and put the game away with another rushing TD with just about a min left. the Bulldogs could not answer back and South Carolina would win 45-35! Gamecocks now 2-0 and Georgia will fall to an 0-2 start.

First game of the year for the irish was a controlling win over a weaker Temple team. Everyone played up to bar but Def some room for improving in T.Rees if the Irish want to beat Michigan when the travel to the big house. The running game was the Strong point for the Irish as well as great D all game only giving up seven points. Hopefully Carlisle can run as well against Michigan as he did today vs the owls we will see next week.

LSU runs all over TCU for the 33-6 blowout win in Dallas stadium.

The run game was spot on with Hill & Blue both rushing all over the TCU D.
The D look great allow zero TD and only 2 FGs.
The one downside to the LSU team was Mettenberger only completing 50% of his passes and two INTs. he will def have to play better if Les Miles and the Tigers want to compete for the National Tittle this year.

Played Georgia (cpu) @ Clemson (me)

Clemson got up 20-7 in the first half with the help of knocking A.Murray out of the game in the second quarter (will be out for 2 weeks.) Georgia would kick a late FG to cut the lead to 20-10 going into the locker room.
It was a scoreless 3rd quarter with both teams struggling to get any O going and UGA never got their running game going and with the second string QB in it was no wonder they struggled but he still played good for coming in on the spot. Clemson would score early in the 4th to go up 27-10 but Georgia would not give up answering right back to make it 27-17. Clemson would drive down and with a chance to close the game out was held to a FG try in the redzone which the Clemson Kicker missing a 19 yard FG! So Georgia would have the ball down by 10 with bout 2min left they would be facing a 3&long on their side of the 50 and throw a 40 yard bomb to cut the lead to 3 with :55seconds to go in the game. Outside kick was their only chance but Clemson would recover it and end up running down the clock. Exciting win for Clemson at home even though they had offensive struggle in the second they came out on top 27-24.

Games of the week Dynasty

Im playing as Notre Dame is the only user team but i am going to play as a bunch of different schools and play week to week the big games and see how good the stats are for a full dynasty of a lot of user played games. I wont post all my dynasty post in here cause that would be a mess but the big games for sure. So feel free to follow the dynasty on my page link in my Signature.

First game i played was Rice (cpu) @ TAMU (me)

I won this game in blowout fashion 66-0 and just to make this a little more realistic i did bench Johnny Manziel for the first half of this game but boy did Joeckel shine in the time he got to play. It was a blow out from the beginning with TAMU heading into the locker room up 35-0.
First drive in the second half TAMU had it on their own 5 but Johnny Football now entered the game but his first play in was a handoff to Malena who broke a 95yard Touchdown run so it was 42-0 early in the 3rd D would play great all game and Johnny would only play 2 series in the 3rd but go 5/5 77 yards 1Td and 6 rushes for 37 yards 1Td. So He Killed it. Malena ran for 28att for 228 yards 2td. Evans 7rec 106yards 1td. So needless to say A&M looks good. Excited to play with this team on this dynasty.

other dynasty news Kansas State was beat by FCS MW aka North Dakota St 31-17. I seen on the bottomline while this game was going on. Thought that was too cool.

I will be starting a dynasty where i will be the user of Notre Dame but i will be playing all the "big, key, or just interesting" games from each week. Number of games played will be different from week to week but they will be played on "Unleash Infinity" sliders. http://www.operationsports.com/forums/ncaa-football-sliders/653804-unleash-infinity-infinity-based-simulation-slider-set-23.html

and also played with the K-Weezy-8 rosters. http://www.operationsports.com/forums/ncaa-football-rosters/645744-k-weezy-8-roster-ps3.html

i plan on doing lots of updates and tables with a lot of info about this dynasty. hope you all enjoy.

Coming into this one i knew it was going to be a battle, going into the big house against a hot Michigan team it was a battle none the less and a battle that could not be won by the Huskers

The first half was mainly all D with Nebraska only get one 2FGS and Michigan would have a TD plus 2FGS so it was 6-13 Huskers trailing at half. To start the second the D hold Michigan and ends up scoring mid way through the 3rd to make it 13-13. No action until middle of the 4th when T.Martinez who struggled today would punch it in from 1 yard out to give Nebraska the first lead 20-13 with just 5:40 to go. Michigan would score on their next possession and then hold Nebraska which would then lead to another Michigan TD and Mich was now up 27-20 with just 59 seconds to go. T.Martinez was sacked and had to leave the game so with about 30 seconds to go its 3rd and 21 and the backup QB in he throws a down field bomb to K.Bell to make it first and goal the Husker O would punk it in to make it 27 a piece with just 15 seconds remaining, Michigan has the ball and they decide to throw a pass which is caught by a WR who then broke 2 or 3 tackles to make it about a 54 yard field goal I would have 2 timeouts to ice the kicker which would actually end up working as Mich kicker missed wide right! So overtime it is.

In ot Nebraska O continued to struggle like al game and with a 3rd down Martinez dropped back to pass and was rushed and threw an INT really just a nice play by Michigans DB but then the Michigan O would take over and not long after throw a pass for the game winning TD. and just like that not only are the title, undefeated season hopes gone. It also puts Nebraska second in the Legends part of the conference so will likely miss the Big Ten Championship game. but all we can do is try to win out and hope for some loses by other teams. Nebraska will take on #13 MIchigan State which im sure will be just as tough as the game Michigan gave us hopefully T. Martinez after having no doubt his worse game all year.

The number two team in the nation almost fell today vs an unranked but still very strong Northwestern team who came in the game with a record of 6-2 and just coming off a tough loss to Iowa. As for the Husker they came in 7-0 and #2 in the nation and coming off a close but still controlling win over Minnesota in Week 9. So first quarter was a Defensive standoff with only a FG by Nebraska. The second quarter was played better by the Wildcats who took a 14-9 lead into the locker room after a late FG by Nebraska. Nebraska was in control but all 3 of their drives in the first have ended with just a FG. The 3rd quarter was back and forth with NU getting a FG on their first possession but Nebraska answered with a TD but decided to just kick the PAT so down 16-17 the D takes the field and ended up giving up a TD so going into the forth it was NU 24 Nebraska 16. The Huskers score quick on a T.Martinez run but failed on the 2-Pt. so Huskers trailed by 2 with just over 6 min remaining. A studio update comes in saying that Number 1 Ohio State just lost their game to Purdue which would mean if the huskers could pull this one out they would surely be #1 for the first time in a long time. The D holds NU and then the huskers drive down the field to score but would miss the 2-pt try again so they score was now Neb 28 NU 24 with 2:43 to go and NU ball. The wildcats took the ball and scored with just :53 remaining it seemed the National title hopes were gone just as the appeared but T.Martinez was not down as he threw a strike to TE J.Long who had a great game receiving. The huskers drive would continue as they had a 3rd and goal and just 34 seconds to go. Martinez Drops back and sees his favorite target Kenny Bell open over the middle he catches it and is hit as he fall into the endzone Touchdown Nebraska!!! with just :27 left. As you might guess it wasnt quite of yet couple big pass plays by NU they had one last shot at a hail marry to stun Husker nation but as the pass floated through the air it was tipped and caught by one of Nebraska DBs and that was it Husker survive and now look to be #1 in the nation and go knock off #5 Michigan in The Big House.

The Huskers started this one out right and controlled most of all the game. By half it was Huskers up 17-7 with us receiving to start the second half. The second half couldnt have started any better for Huskers with second play from scrimmage T. Martinez ran for a 62 yard Touchdown! After a stop and another Passing TD for Martinez the Cornhuskers were now up 31-7 with 5:01 to go in the 3rd. After a good drive and a touchdown scored by Southern Miss it look like we had a ball game still but after a failed 2pt try it was now 31-13 but Kenny Bell would take the next kickoff back 99 yards to blow the game right back open and Southern Miss never seemed to recover fully and after a couple back in forth possessions the Huskers would come out on top.

Coming into this one should be a tough win for who ever pulls it off. Both teams have yet to lose in ACC play. Marlyand is 3-1 with only lose being to now #15 West Virginia 29-41 but this will be their first road game all year so could play a huge factor. Tech is 4-1 with only loss being to Kansas. But this should be another win for tech i believe and hopefully give us some racket in the top 25! I have this one going Georgia Tech 35 and Maryland 21 in a shootout!

Well this one was a good win but also a tough loss for tech. We will get to that but first off. Tech struggled and the reason why was first drive Washington was hurt for the second straight game and was knocked out for the remainder so we pulled off 3 points but then next NC State possession they took the lead back and the second half was a D battle with only 3 points gained by Gt. So at half Tech trailed 6-7. The bigger story going into the locker room was Tech lost starting RB Orwin Smith for the remainder of the season with a broke collarbone. The second half started off with just as much of a battle but final with 3 min to go in the 3rd Tech hit yet another FG to go up 9-7. Then just two min later we got the ball back and back up QB S.Days took it 61 yards on the ground to the endzone so going into the 4th it was Tech 16 and wolfpack 7. Then on the wolfpack next possession as they were getting deep into tech territory R.Sweeting for the jackets picked it off and took it 87 yards for the TD! Putting tech up 24-7 after the 2 point converstion. But just 17 seconds later NC State threw a bomb 71 yards to close it to 24-14 but a couple punts by both teams made it tough for the comeback and was closed with the 67 yard pass on 3rd down from once again back up QB Days to now Back up running back E.Peeples for 6 and that finished the game with GEorgia Tech winning 31-14.

Well got a little busy so wont have a preview for the upcoming game but still will have stats and recaps as i can provide.

The first game was a loss facing Kansas at home the boys struggled in the first with giving up the opening kickoff up for 6 but not only that getting down 0-21 in the First Quarter!!! Blow out right? No sure GT showed some fight and closed the game to just 14-21 at half. but the second half was quite the battle only one td in 3rd was a pick 6 by GT to tie it up 21 all! Yet another big play for the Kansas O which was the only way they scored all day was on big plays. It put them ahead 21-28. As Tech drove down the field they were forced to kick a FG with just 5 min to go. They kickoff and held Kansas to a punt but couldnt move the ball after giving up a holding pentilty to make it 3&20. An incomplete pass lead to a punt deep in Kansas territory with just 2 min but all 3 timeouts but GT was unable to stop them so an utter loss to Kansas 24-28 in a heartbreaker for sure!

After the tough loss to Kansas.Georgia Tech Had a must win vs ACC foe North Carolina a must win no only to get things back rolling but to stay a continter for the ACC championship. This one was a D battle for sure but i believe GT couldve beat these guys even worse. At the end of the half GT was driving up 7-0 and then something awful happened Washington got a mild Concussion and was out for the whole second half. But we lead 17-0 then a huge play by NC made it 17-7 going into the 4th quarter no points were scored and no other injuries to speak of were made. So a good was to battle back for GT after losing their QB in the second quarter and still managed to win by 2 scores over a good and favored coming into this one NC team. But georgia Tech prevealed 17-7.

Game Notes
As the jackets take on Kansas it will be their last Non-Conference game of the year. Id like to think this good be a good hard win for GT. With both teams coming in wanting to run it this one could be one won late in a low scorer. I give the edge to GT in this one with the fact their #1 as far as running and defending the run. I think that will win the game Id guess the score to be Georgia Tech 24 and Kansas 17. In a great game but Tech remind unbeaten and hands kansas their second straight loss!
