EA Sports & 2K Sports - Same Problems

When I look at EA Sports games and 2K sports games, despite all the homerism you hear from fanboys of either camp, they both really share the same problem. And that problem is realism at the most basic level of the sport they are trying to portray.

Are you a gamer or just a sports gamer ?

As the title states, are you a gamer or just a sports gamer. Meaning do you play a variety of games or only just one or two sports games. I have seen a lot of men say I don't play video games, I just play Madden or MLB The Show.

Pretty sure it is a lot of people on OS who have a PS3 just for MLB The Show and just have a Xbox 360 just for Madden or FIFA or NBA 2K. Then you have those who only play Call of Duty or Battlefield series ONLY.

Dragon Age 2 Review Part 2

Ok so I just beat the game. For me it took 52 hours to beat with doing 99% of the side quests. Definitely got my money's worth with this game. The replay value is very high when you consider the following:

1. You can play with an import save history.

2. You can play with the game default history.

3. Variety of classes.

Ok so I had this game since release day, logged a good amount of hours into it where I felt I could give a decent early review of the game.

The Good
  1. Graphics, much improved, more detailed, they remade how the Quanari look. They look more bad arse now.
  2. The Mass Effect style of good, neutral or evil answer choices, which determines if a person will be friends with you or a rival.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Review

This game starts off where the second game left out at. So that means once again you play as Ezio. Graphically this game is about the same as Assassin's Creed 2 for the most part that is. Some characters have gotten a face lift, some buildings look better, the NPC which there are a ton of in the streets look better. The attention to detail is pretty darn good I would say.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Review

Over all I must say this game has it's highs and lows. The high is that the single player is entertaining, story line is pretty good IF you are into consipiracy theories. Because this what the game plays as, one big conspiracy theory after another.

Multi player is re-done, more balanced. They have some new weapons, perks, modes, etc. And they made some previous weapons more powerful and some weaker.

Ok I just beat the game. On default difficulty took me 7 1/2 hours to beat.

PROS

Atmosphere - The sounds of the guns and background noise on surround sound makes you feel like you right in the middle of the war. You hear bullets whizzing past your head, hear you teammates calling for you from a distance.

Touches Tendancy should be in EVERY sports game

I really think 2K is on to something here with the touches tendancy. Even though their ratings for players with it is out of whack, these but a programming is a Sim gamer god send. In essence it is a priority meter.

Just think if Madden and NCAA football had it with their WR's, TE's and HB's. No longer would you see the slot WR leading the team with catches and yards while the star WR of the team have low stats. For the teams with 2 HBs in the rotation, no longer would see the ... Read More

Let me start off with saying this game is AWESOME ! Mass Effect 2 really blew me away. Kind of funny considering the 1st one annoyed me and I never got into it.

Ok Raven Squad is a game that combines FPS with RTS. In theory you would think omg this game would be amazing. However it is far from it. Graphically this game could have been way better.

So initially I wasn't planning on buying Batman. I seen the trailers for it and thought hmmm nice CG stuff. Seen it on Gametrailers for their review and thought hmmmm ok. Was in Walmart and seen people playing it and thought wow these graphics look good.
