Madden 12 is here and it is that time of year again. Did Madden 12 live up to the hype ? Yes and no.
Presentation wise the game looks good graphically. The grass fields look way better on here then it does on NCAA 12. Player models are bigger, for some positions maybe too big. Some of these QBs look like they been on a corn bread and collard greens diet.
Let me say it right now. On default sliders, All Madden is easy. It is easy because the defense is inconsistent. ... Read More

Coach mode by far is the best new feature of NCAA 12. Anybody can have stick skills. Anybody can beat anybody on the planet eventually that way. Takes no skill at all.
Coach mode however is all about the X's and O's. To me it provides more of a challenge. Way higher risk and reward type of game play. In this mode you can clearly see who the studs are on the team and who the busts are. Plus it is a good way to find out who are the diamonds in the rough on your team. A person ... Read More

In some areas of this game, a new AI logic path is needed. I drawn up some new path ideas to show I am talking about.
Here when it comes to the Defensive end pass rush, the defensive ends in the game execute the same path to the QB all ... Read More

SCRAMBLING QUARTERBACKS !
Yes people, scrambling QBs have come back to the NCAA series ! For the 1st time in 6 years, we have scrambling QBs in a NCAA football game. It is a thing of beauty to see.
If there was one tiny nitpick about the scrambling QBs is so far I haven't seen a spin from the pressure then scramble, type of scramble yet. For those who have played Madden 11, you will know what I am talking about. Just a minor thing.
Anyway I have played ... Read More

Could this be the year the NCAA series get back to the top of college football hill, the position they once held with NCAA 2006 ? Start the band wagon ! I am sure it is enough room on there, there always is.
Little less then 2 months away from the release of NCAA 12 and so far we know the following:

- Even more school entrances. Horses, birds, and automobiles oh my.
- Bands in the crowd
- 3D grass
- Fog
- Coaching caroseul
- Ability to play as either the head coach, offensive

Ok so I just beat the game. For me it took 52 hours to beat with doing 99% of the side quests. Definitely got my money's worth with this game. The replay value is very high when you consider the following:
1. You can play with an import save history.
2. You can play with the game default history.
3. Variety of classes.
All 3 of those greatly effect the story line. Because depending on who you helped in the 1st game, determines who you ... Read More

Ok so I had this game since release day, logged a good amount of hours into it where I felt I could give a decent early review of the game.
The Good
The Good
- Graphics, much improved, more detailed, they remade how the Quanari look. They look more bad arse now.
- The Mass Effect style of good, neutral or evil answer choices, which determines if a person will be friends with you or a rival.
- The size of the map. Map is HUGE, lots of districts, a lot of people to interactive with,

Since we have a global break tackle slider and global fumble slider. I think we should go a step further and make a global scramble slider. That we the user will have more control over how they want the cpu to play.
Same thing with a global punt/FG block slider.
I have yet to see the cpu block ANY of my punts or FGs in Madden ever. And I have been playing Madden since 92. EA's motto has always been if it is in the game, it is in the game.

Being that both Madden and NCAA are about halfway through their development cycle for this year game, I thought I would point out what would be the perfect football game.
Since their share tech anyway between the two development teams, here is some things they need to share. Madden 11 has the better running game, better blocking and better line interaction of the 2 games. That is something NCAA should borrow and use for NCAA 12.
CPU RBs run with a purpose on Madden ... Read More

First let me start off by saying I have been playing Madden since Madden 92 and been playing college football games since Bill Walsh College Football in the early 90s. So that is a lot of years, a lot of features and technologies have come and gone.
Skip forward to the present. This generation of gaming far as football games is concerned has become really lacking in the fundementals of the game. I remember last generation the excuse for not doing certain things in the game was a ... Read More

This game starts off where the second game left out at. So that means once again you play as Ezio. Graphically this game is about the same as Assassin's Creed 2 for the most part that is. Some characters have gotten a face lift, some buildings look better, the NPC which there are a ton of in the streets look better. The attention to detail is pretty darn good I would say.

Over all I must say this game has it's highs and lows. The high is that the single player is entertaining, story line is pretty good IF you are into consipiracy theories. Because this what the game plays as, one big conspiracy theory after another.
Multi player is re-done, more balanced. They have some new weapons, perks, modes, etc. And they made some previous weapons more powerful and some weaker.
Now on to the bad. This refers to single player. The game has ... Read More
