Sure I seen some wonky things in Madden and FIFA when it came to physics, but this was just weird. Before I even seen the zoomed in replay something looked off in that tackle. Zoomed in it looks even worse.

In case you all have forgotten, there are new hot routes in NCAA 14 that are position specific. They work and they work very good.

Oh yes I am liking the new hit stick mechanic. Works so well with the infinity engine 2.

Gig'em

It is the game we always wanted

Ever since the start of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, I always envisioned the game play AI of sports games would be more like what you see on tv. Basketball, baseball and soccer games delivered. With Madden ... Read More

As a lover of sports, I truly hope Live 14 turn out at least some what good. But as of now Live has quite a tall hill to climb. Competition is a good thing, it breeds innovation. The more the better I say, in the end the consumers will win in the long run. Still early so anything can happen.

I am so disappointed in the game play video they released today 2 days before the start of E3. Wasn't one of their biggest new features for NCAA 14 was Infinity Engine 2.0 ? Didn't they harp how much improved it was over Madden 13's Infinity Engine ?

But yet in the game play video released today, you don't see any evidence of physics period. Tackle animations look the same as last year. Commentary still sound awful, robotic and so out of place. There was no excitement in their ... Read More

I don't know what is going with EA Sports marketing department. That really dropped the ball when it comes to the uniform store for NCAA 13. Opening day was Thursday. Had college football games on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and today Monday. But yet the store isn't open. Few teams even debuted their new uniforms this weekend.

You would think they would have had the store open to go along with the beginning of the NCAA season. Logically it would have made sense. I guess ... Read More

Browsing EA Sports own forums, one of their developers shed some actual HONESTY. He said the reason Madden doesn't have true coach mode is because their engine isn't designed for CPU vs CPU game play. Now let us all think hard about this for a few minutes. Let it marinate.

If the CPU can't perform against it's own self in a game, then it REALLY isn't designed for Human vs CPU game play either. So why don't EA Sports just come out and say hey, our sports game is really designed ... Read More

So NCAA 13 has been out for a week now. There is a tuner for it and the tuner has been out since the Season Ticket early release, but maybe even before that. Here is the thing, this marks the 1st time ever there has been no EA Sports official press release, statement or anything saying what the tuner suppose to have fixed.

The reason I say suppose to is because the game plays much better WITH OUT the tuner. With the tuner, real assignment AI is broken, offensive linemen miss their ... Read More

Day one of E3, EA Sports dropped a bomb on the customer base. Madden has done the impossible, the unthinkable. They made a real time physics engine in ONE development cycle. Many people assumed that EA wouldn't waste their money on making a new engine from scratch at the end of a console's life cycle. But they did, completely caught people by surprise.

Not only that, by EA combined offline franchise, online franchise and superstar mode all into one big mega mode called connected ... Read More

When I look at EA Sports games and 2K sports games, despite all the homerism you hear from fanboys of either camp, they both really share the same problem. And that problem is realism at the most basic level of the sport they are trying to portray.

With Madden & NCAA football games, it is the lack of special teams basics. No punt blocks, no CPU returning Punts back for a TD, no pass interference being called. Player mirroring is very rampant to the point you have corner backs running ... Read More

OK.....so I literally just spent the past 13 hours trying to get this S.O.B to work with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 10. After hours with customer service, which I must say aren't helpful at all and hours watching Youtube videos, I found the problem.

To help others who may have also had problems using M2TS files with Sony Vegas Pro or Sony Vegas Movie Studio, version 10 and higher, I have found the solution. This will keep others from suffering 14 hours of searching for the damn answer ... Read More

As the title states, are you a gamer or just a sports gamer. Meaning do you play a variety of games or only just one or two sports games. I have seen a lot of men say I don't play video games, I just play Madden or MLB The Show.

Pretty sure it is a lot of people on OS who have a PS3 just for MLB The Show and just have a Xbox 360 just for Madden or FIFA or NBA 2K. Then you have those who only play Call of Duty or Battlefield series ONLY.

So what category do you fall ... Read More

It is just something about this game that doesn't set right with me. It never did and with even more tests, the level of stuff I am figuring out is just mind blowing.

I am pretty soon we all might have seen a play where your stud offensive lineman get blown up by a defensive lineman. At 1st you think the following:

That offensive lineman must be terrible

OR

That DL player must be a beast.

Then you look at their ratings and ... Read More

Maybe it is my military background and my own military biasness, but I am tired of seeing 1st person shooters that are unrealistic. Damn near every 1st person shooter you can simply ignore the mission objectives and just go rambo through the whole level, kill everybody and pass the mission.

Also I for me I hate games where you just magically show up at the mission location. This is one thing the Operation Flashpoint series does right, especially in Red River. You actually see yourself ... Read More
