Updating an earlier report, with a week to the trade deadline, The Celtics send PG Luke Ridnour, SG Jason Richardson, & Grizzlies 1st Round Pick to the rival LA Lakers for F Lamar Odom & Lakers 1st Round Pick. The Celtics are going hard for the title and they think Lamar can really help them this year. He only has 1 year left on his deal, but the Celtics are looking to sign him to an extension and should start at SF for Boston.

UPDATE:
In another minor move, Celtics sent PF Reggie Evans & 2013 1st Round Pick (From Bucks) to Portland for PG Patty Mills & 2013 2nd Round Pick (Blazers). Mills will just add some PG depth incase of injuiry to Rondo or Bradley, as Reggie Evans was going to be sent down to D-League anyway.

After dealing SG Ronnie Brewer to Charlotte because he wasnt happy, Jrich has asked for a trade out of Boston. Richardson had 3 poor shooting games in a row, and was benched for the 4th of the game vs. Knicks. Henderson put up 13 in his 1st game as a Celtic and could push Richardson for time. Its unsure what they will do, but reports say they will look to package Jrich/Luke Ridnour in a deal, to give Avery Bradley more playing time. More to follow!

The Celtics made a move today to impact their bench as they moved SG Ronnie Brewer & 2013 1st Pick (From Grizzlies) to the Bobcats for SG Gerald Henderson. GM Danny Ainge announced that the move was for the future, as Brewer wasn't getting many minutes and was becoming disapointed with his role. There was a news blub saying Henderson was being moved for the right price, and Ainge gave them what they wanted. Look for Henderson to come off the bench along with Shane Battier to backup the Wings. Brewer leaves averaging 6.7pts 1.7ast 1.3stls in 15 games (6 starting).

The Celtics, who improved to 11-1, took game 1 by a large margin against the Bobcats, and also by a large margin vs. Rockets. The game vs. Spurs was close as Manu missed the tying 3 pointer. The Love trade proved effective, as the Celtics looked faster, and stronger on D. Luke Ridnour however went down with a severe ankle sprain and will be out 4-6 weeks. PG Avery Bradley looks to get a extended role for that period of time backing up all star PG Rajon Rondo. The return of Jrich has also proven effective, as he has turned to the clear number 2 option on offense.

The Boston Celtics have traded PF Kevin Garnett, PG/SG Delonte West & 2012 1st Pick to Minnesota for PF Kevin Love & PG Luke Ridnour. The Celtics saved a bunch of cap but will have to try and resign Love in the offseason and Ridnour will back up Rondo with a 3 year contract. The Celtics had to give up their 1st pick but they think it will help them now.

PS: I wouldnt mind some feedback to see if anyone is even viewing my dynasty, which I hope isn't the case, but Feedback is welcome!

The Celtics (8-1) got 2 blowout wins vs. the very low Cavs and 76ers, but also recieved their 1st lost of the season in game 8 vs. the Mavericks. I also started a Franchish with the Boston Celtics and simmed the 1st season to get to the current contract status. I made a couple deals at the draft trading G Ray Allen to Grizzlies for SF Shane Battier, Grizlies 1st Pick (15), and SF Sam Young. Next we dealt Grizlies 1st Pick (15) & Jeff Green to Magic for SG Jason Richardson & PF Brandon Bass. The team then signed and traded PF Glen Davis to Wizards for PF/C Andray Blatche because we needed some size down low. Finally C Jermaine O'neal & Celtics 1st Pick (28) were dealt to Chicago for SG Ronnie Brewer & C Omar Asik. The team only made one free agent signing, grabbing C Kwame Brown. Here is the Teams depth chart for 2011-2012 Season:
