move on. Thought I'd take a stab @ the All Star league. Definitely is harder no doubt. More turnovers as you'd expect and so on. Lower scoring games which is cool. I've gotta get better on the PP and my PK% could be better as well. Think I'm 5-3-2 as of right now. I won't be amassing 60 something wins in this league needless to say. It is fun to say the least. Kinda has made me want to play it more like when I 1st got it. Nothing wrong with that. Stay tuned for more updates as the season rolls on. ... Read More

Well I'm 54-14-6 so far so good with my beloved Bruins. I like the game as it has an even better feel than last years. I keep asking myself how they can possibly do 1 better from years past and it keeps winning awards for game play and so on. Not able to play as many per day as I'd like as I'm experiencing my 2nd Herniated disc in a litte over a year. I would love to be able to play online but with my schedule playing offline will be sufficient. I have even tried the BAP mode which is pretty decent ... Read More

Well it feels good to be writing another blog on here again so here goes. I just received the NCAA College Football 12 in the mail courtesy of my wife and personally I find it harder than last year. Is it me or what? I'm one of those guys who just unpacks and plays and let the chips fall where they may. I'm 3-3 through my 1st 6 games. Ughhh as they say. Offense is sluggish but putting up points. Getting killed taking chances, throwing picks, a couple fumbles a long the way. Not much stifling of a ... Read More

What a year it's been for our Bruins. In short though winning the Stanley Cup after a 39 year hiatus. The silent whispers, the doubters and haters for that matter can all look to a different team to pick on as we are no longer that team that continues to choke year in and year out. Continuity,Chemistry are back in Boston, now keeping it because of players salaries will be the delicate balance between winning and losing. I personally hope the Bruins organization can find a position open for 1 Mark ... Read More

Well although baseball is not my favorite sport I continue to buy this game yearly and play roughly a season until another sport comes out. No major changes have been made to this game that I've seen having played through 2 Spring Training games. The graphics and some of the shots are more polished which is always nice. The play by play doesn't seem to have changed that I can tell but maybe more games under my belt and regular season games and we'll see. 1st impressions from having played it was ... Read More

Well the season is rolling around again and I'm getting the itch to play yet another year of baseball. From the trailers I've watched looks to be good and it's supposed to be improved on the defensive side. My schedule doesn't allow me to play to many games anymore but will make time for this game. Plus I have my son on the weekends so him and his friends will enjoy it. Looking forward to hearing what ya'll have to say about the new game. Showed my wife the trailer and she couldn't figure out the ... Read More

I'm not a big fan of the NBA and look no farther than this guy. Very good player but personality is severely lacking. What's this bumping into his Coach now and it's not the 1st time either. Now don't get me wrong. I was ready to admit the Heat would have a good year with the recent additions. Chemistry is something that doesn't happen overnight but these kind of antics will wear thin. With him being a marquee player he can probably get by with much more than a new player. Let's also not forget ... Read More

As most of you know I'm a die hard Notre Dame fan when it comes to football. This team has weathered many storms and people have doubted Coach Kelly. Good teams find a way to win and regardless of whether you think this is a good team look at it this way. Armando Allen out,Dane Crist out, nose tackle out who's a senior and I more key contributer that's out. Some ugly losses, some great wins. There's been quite the learning curve and I'm excited about the future. 7-5 is not usually a reason to get ... Read More

Well just wanted to wish everyone and all my friends on here a Happy Thanksgiving.I'm looking forward to spending this time with family and watching some football, most notably my down and out Cowboys who seem to be playing better under a new Interim Coach. In other news life on our end is doing ok? Hope to land a job in January simply due my Coaching won't be over until then. Am really enjoying Teaching and being a part of the whole experience of Coaching as this is my 5th year. My Boston Bruins ... Read More

Well after having 4 very successful seasons playing with Notre Dame I've decided to Coach another team. Before I do though let me explain I won the National Championship 2 out of the 4 years, and garnered a Heisman for my Running back. So your probably asking me why if Notre Dame is my favorite team. Change of scenery and different opponents I guess. I had a choice to Take Alabama,West Virginia,PennSt. I took the Mountaineers from West Virginia as there's a mystique about them I can't explain. Took me til this year (my 3rd) to be ranked #1. Only 5 games in and I'm done. Fell behind 17-0 to USC and I was able to claw back and actually take the lead 28-17. Things were looking up but a couple interceptions later and the inevitable was done. I had lost. Think I'm 40-5 so far. Have a pretty good team. Wish I was a bit tighter on defense but such is the case. Will have to start another run I guess and keep the consistency going. Can't wait until next years class gets here as there's some 5 ... Finally while doing clothes tonight thought I'd play a few games of NCAA 11 football, and low and behold if I don't beat USC 35-19. Oh it was a great feeling. I scored my 1st points off a muffed punt return and an interception and ran'em both in. Pretty much was able to cruise from there. My running back #32 rushed for 208yds on 23 carries. My defense is starting to come alive hitting people what seems harder because the turnovers are becoming more frequent. I was worried not so much about USC but ... Read More

I'm not a morning person even after working in a factory for 21 years but this morning was well worth it. I was invited by my A.D./Head Coach to go to Bruce Webber's basketball camp for Coaches. Was a wonderful experience to say the least. This morning we listened to 3 speakers. 1 from Murray State,1 from Quincy here in Illinois and last would see Dell Harris talk for 90 minutes. Then lunch then the real treat came. Watching Coach Webber conduct a practice for 2 hours. Was well spent time but when ... Read More

Why not pay the players based on there output, stats, heart, desire if you will? I know,I know what your thinking, will NEVER happen. Your right it won't but would make players like case in point Gilbert Arenas who was up on gun charges because of a concealed weapon in his locker now given (if you call it that)a 2nd chance to play during preseason and he FAKES and injury as a joke. I'd be like jokes on you, your outta here. Contract year, you'd better play your *** off. You can't measure heart, desire ... Read More

Well in the midst of moving was able to hook up the ole xbox and finish my season. We (Columbus Blue Jackets)swept Tampa Bay Lightning in 4 to win Lord Stanley in our 1st year. I ended up winning like 4 trophies including the Conn Smythe,Hart, and a few others I can't remember off hand. Will be hard to duplicate the 60-17-5 record but just playing for the love of the game is good enough for me. Still hoping to get traded to the Bruins as that's my favorite team but with the kinda #'s I'm putting ... Read More
