Another successful year in the books. A 12-1 year an invite to the Tostito's bowl and a #3 ranking would see me man handle #8 Rutgers 59-21. This 2nd year would see my HB win the Heisman and the Doak Walker award. Recruiting continues to be a bright spot. The defense has like 3 sack leaders and have stepped up big time to anchor a defense is in the top 10. Another couple of years and I'll have to decide on another contract. Season 2 is over with and I finally avenged my loss to Oklahoma in the title game in a big way 34-3. 2nd year in and I've already won it all. I didn't have any players that dominated any statistics but just a good team effort with the usual injuries taking place to my RB. He did come back for a couple weeks but being a senior he's now gone. I finished with a 12-1 record so with only 3 losses in 2 years the future looks bright indeed. Well I revenged 1 of my losses in my 1st year to Mich. St winning 10-3 and soon rose to #1. That's the good news I reckon. As you know how hard it is to stay there. Not long in my case. Oklahoma came a calling at my place and had me down 31-0 before I knew what hit me. Ended up losing after a QB change 31-24. So through 6 games I'm 5-1 and #7 in the land. Well my Irish on my NCAA 13 are doing better than expected. Defensively have really stepped it up this year. Probably already have 8-10 picks. I've got the 2nd leading Heisman in my RB but he's 300 yds behind the leader. In 10 games have racked up 3,333 total Yards. Am starting to feel more comfortable passing. Were 9-1 and ranked 3rd. So the system has Oklahoma ranked as #2 ha? I think not. My RB just ran for 176 on 17 carries with 1 Td in a 31-17 romp. I'm currently rated 11th. Sure to move up after this. Trying to remember my recruits names I'm trying to get. Oklahoma getting back to them had so many holes wow is all I have to say. Michigan St and Purdue were much tougher as was Stanford. Time will tell with USC. That's always a good game. Who's the toughest team you've faced so far?

Ok so I've had my sleep for the day and it's time for some football, NCAA 13 style of course. Now on my 6th game and it being Stanford which I can't stand being a N.D. fan. They have me down 17-0 before I even started answering the call. Chipping away slowly but surely and would even take the lead. Just gotta play a lil D right. Ok so today I picked it up and jumped in with both feet to play it. After 5 games though I've gotta say, I don't see a noticeable change from last years game. Ok a bit more commentary and the defenses seem to be better @ times. I'm 4-1 with my lone loss coming in a blowout to Michigan St. 35-7. Couldn't seem to do anything against them. So I'm watching the video of the upgraded Recruiting you can do on the new NCAA 13 and I must say, looks a tad dicey. Answer me this. For those of us that aren't experts at it how much better can you recruit than say letting the computer do it for ya? What's different this year say compared to last years? A little more in depth? Easier to use? I just moved across town and went and rented NCAA 12 and played my 1st 3 games and I'm so ready to pickup the new one coming out July 10th. Are there really ... Read More

It will be here before ya know it and I am like so ready to get this game. From everything I've read looks to be new and improved or something like that. I'm still playing NHL13 so just biding my time. I'm a die Hard N.D. fan and it will be interesting to see what game play features they've added to. I saw the sites and sounds and the broad casters will have more input from what I've heard. Well just ended my run @ winning the National Championship but was ousted in Elite 8 by North Carolina by 3. As you may know I'm Arkansas so it'll be tough to duplicate that season but was hoping with a good recruiting class I could maintain. What's the best way to recruit. Have targets in site but still getting an F for recruiting. As a Coach myself I love playing this game and wish they'd come up with a newer version. I'm ranked 3rd in my 3rd season so wish me luck. Year 2 up date with Arkansas on the 2010 NCAA Basketball game for the xbox 360. Thinking 26-10 was good for the 1st year I'm now 19-3 in my 2nd year and atop the Mountain looking down. Bullseye on me from here on out you bet. Hardest competition so far. Alabama,Florida,Villanova,Ohio St., and definetly Tennessee. Had to beat Ohio St,Villanova,Duke just to win Maui Invitational,talk about brutal. Should of gotten a trophy I think but oh well. Still learning how to recruit, slowly but surely it's ... Read More

In my 2nd year playing as Arkansas. Year 1 ended up with me beating 28-2 Kentucky in the SEC tournament game but for the Championship couldn't beat Tennessee. Won my 1st round game in NCAA as a #5 seed playing Cornell #12. Can't remember who my 2nd round game was against but lost that which sent me packing. Well rented out this game the other day as I'm a sports nut, no doubt. Decided to play in Dynasty Mode and went 23-8 my 1st year as Arkansas but then had to turn game back in. Why again did they stop making this game? Not a market for it?

34-38-10 were the results of year 1 on the harder level. It was definitely a challenge but this next year figures to be better. I'm in the GM Mode so there's higher expectations that I get 44 wins this year. Can't believe this game is still this fun well after the fact. Won the Stanley Cup 1st 2 years of the normal league so this has gotten harder and I'm a loving it. Well 1st off let me say how disappointed I am in Notre Dames game tonight against the Noles of Florida State. Simply doesn't make any sense. I'm not losing faith in Brian Kelly but Reese is NOT the answer @ QB. I'm wondering however about our recruiting somewhat at the key spots on the field. More Irish talk in another up and coming blog.
