In the beta, steals didn't take away stamina like they do now. Changed it and made it better now that it's like that

Thanks for this! I thought it was my connection.

Ah well fat chance, since I'm not even beating the first game.

Great game through, so fresh!

Steals are good now. They work but not overpowering.

But 3 point shooting......my goodness, I know Chris mullin was dangerous from 3 but dude online was splashing 3's (sometimes even 4's with the perfect release) from HALF COURT. He had 60 of the 65 points scored.

I understand it's arcade basketball but they have to tweak it down a hair for the sake of competitiveness.

Why did they review a beta, makes no sense, the game wasn't finished.

Anyways this game is incredibly fun.

I'm pretty awful at this game. I've lost six straight and just can't get the timing down right. There really doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason why I'm missing layups and open shots. One minute I think I have it figured out, the next minute I'm bricking them again.

I don't know how I feel about the scoring. I'd like to play a straight up game like Jam. I've seen a 12 point shot, some fours, etc. Some of it just doesn't make any sense.

It's still a fun game to pick up and play. I'm glad I got it on the Switch most of all.

Exactly! After everything I was reading about this game on the switch it was supposed to be awful on handheld mode, but after playing it last night, it is just fine. Great buy for 20 bucks!!!

Question. What's up with the shot fakes? Why am I unable to dribble after a shot fake? I receive a pass. I'm standing still. I shot fake, and I can't dribble.....maybe this is only happening on the Switch version?

Also, on the Switch handheld the whole thing vibrates from time to time. Distracting and annoying. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

The controller vibrates when you try to perform an action and you're out of stamina. (Check the stamina bar around the players feet)

It's not a Switch thing, you just can't pump and go.

That is one major flaw that needs addressed.

The developers are looking in to the Switch vibration in handheld mode. Until then, you can turn off the vibration in system settings.

Supposedly they are also looking in to optimizing the resolution on the Switch handheld.

Are the developers interacting anywhere? (Twitter/Facebook, etc)

I'm not on social media but it would be nice to know they are looking for feedback, and hopefully they can updated us on when 2 v 2 on-line capabilities will be added..

My biggest issue with the game by far is the timing of the pump fake in general. I can't get it down. Sometimes I hit the button for a millisec and they throw up a awful shot because the AI thinks I released too early. Other times, the pump fake works exactly as intended. Very frustrating...

Same here. I want to like the gameplay, but it's just a bit glitchy. I wish they would've just remade NBA jam with better graphics. It's hard to get rebounds and dunks. The reward system is annoying. It's a bit frustrating. It's not horrible, but not great. Chase's review was spot on.

So what is everyones strategy? Are you just selecting a handful of players and trying to level them up? Or are you playing with a variety of players?

Do all the star players have an Epic card for them? For example, I got a paul george "standard" card and have been leveling him up.. But maybe its isnt worth is if its not an "epic" or special card.

Any thoughts on this? I just want to make sure I am taking the correct approcach..
