Some of the animations are to slow to begin with

Ima a slasher and they are almost useless. Even with the HOF badge I don't dare attempt them unless I ABSOLUTELY have to. I'll have games where on wide open looks great release I'll miss all attempts yet there are times where I'll go 20/20 with floaters (had to do this is Pro Am once as it was me and one guy who wouldn't stop giving me the ball and the other team just stacked the paint as the CPU couldn't shoot). I really just want them to be more consistent it's really annoying when I miss a game winner because I did a floater even though it was the right shot choice for the situation but can turn around and hit one with a terrible release from the free throw line over 5 people.

Saved camera settings for Proam and Teamup. I like my camera zoomed doesn't save when you adjust it before games.

Can't we please get more socks and t-shirts and shoes and pants? Aren't enough of those to go around.

It's so funny u say this as I play it on xbox one and lately I haven't had to much fun playing (I only play against cpu btw) but I just recently bought a PS4 and decided to purchase 2k again for whatever dumb reason. This game plays so much better straight out of the box it's insane. I'm upset I have to download the patches on PS4. The passes are crispy and and the dribbling is actually useful against cpu

more shooting fouls.

started to notice a few weeks ago they toned down fouls. Too much contact is let go without a whistle..im talking fouls they used to call just a few weeks ago..

As well as some the well writen changes to address simnation's concerns i'd love to see extended editing functionality.

1. Please add to CAP and PLAYER EDIT every rhythym dribble animation available.
2. Please add to CAP and PLAYER EDIT every named dunk package purchaseable by my player(levine, howard, shaq, carter, kobe ect)

In 2k16, signature size-ups were added to both these modes via a patch post launch and it made me so very happy. Can we do that again please? The precident for that possibility has already been set.

But failing that, double teams, and PIP %ages are my biggest gameplay gripes. As well as that stupid "thrunk" animation ruining my poster dunks over short, terrible rim protectors like delly and isiah thomas.

Good luck simnation, let hope visual concepts isnt deafened by VC profits and 2Ks ugly, greedy shareholders

Ooo, on the landing page im the first post on page 7! Thats my lucky number! Lol

I find 2K is usually constant in term dog overall foul numbers. There is zero logic to it I'm not disputing it but usually you will get nothing for a few min or maybe even a half and then it will call EVERYTHING no matter what.

I've been deployed and I come back to play 2K17 and it's not the same game. Sliders help reduce some of the gameplay flaws but a lot of the movements aren't basketball or human movements. The game is still good and playable.

I just got used to learning to play with new sliders now a new patch is coming.

Replace ice cream man with 2K patch.

I'm not sure if it's possible, but I would love the option to have the offline gameplay like it did at release.

Here are some seemingly easy fixes 2k can patch:

1. Reduce loading times

2. Lower the frequency of standing dunks
Every player in Pro Am/ Park can standing Dunk pretty much at will around the basket, its insanity

3. Reduce green release frequency, while slightly increasing lightly contested shot percentage
LDD/PP and glass Cleaners should not be averaging .65 from 3pt land
Also the amount of airballs on lightly contested shots is kinda ridiculous
Heres my suggestions:
  • Reduce effectiveness of limitless range and Corner Specialist
  • Lower green release frequency globally

4. Reduce Brick Wall effectiveness

1. Dribbling.

Change the dribbling animations back to what it was like at the beginning of the 2K17 release, back to before patch 1.6 hit and ruined the dribbling animations. You can see in this video, Harden's crossover animation is cancelled. This is what was possible before patch 1.6. After patch 1.6, this became impossible, which affected the explosiveness of offensive players.

Link below shows what should happen (this was dribbling at the beginning of 2K17). Instead, after patch 1.6, we are forced to complete the initial hesitation animation which is awful.

2. Double teams.

Remove double teams altogether if 2K cannot rewrite the AI in time to make it more logical.

3. Grope-flail-strip animation.

There is this annoying animation

2. Remove double teams if they cannot be fixed.

Remove double teams altogether if 2K cannot rewrite the AI in time to make it more logical.

3. Remove the grope-flail-strip animation in the paint while going for a layup/dunk.

There is this annoying animation where the dribbler goes into the paint, and is about to attempt a layup, but then instead of finishing through the layup, he gets groped and loses the ball.

This should be a reach-in or shooting foul, but there is no call at all and the dribbler just loses control.

It is referenced here by another person on the 2K subreddit.

https://www.reddit.com/r/NBA2k/comme..._2k17/dcm0wfn/

4. Loosen CPU on-ball defense.

CPU on-ball defense is ridiculous. The bumping and godly reactions of the CPU to every single one of my dribble moves is completely unrealistic. Unless I break their ankles, nothing breaks them down. Fakes and hesis do nothing against a CPU because they immediately recover.

Realise that the CPU needs to be able to be broken down by faster players.

CPU recovery speed is unrealistic.
This is basically word for word what I need to see addressed to be happy with gameplay this year. The other thing I can add is substitution AI. I know it has been touched on but it hasn't been addressed. If you use advanced rotations in My League, players in foul trouble are not subbed out. Of course you can sub manually, but that does not apply in My Career. At least 2 big men per game have 5 fouls by the 3rd quarter, and there's nothing you can do about it. The dribbling patch has completely crippled Iso players, including your trusty side kick Justice Young. He's basically useless now as a teammate because he's a shot creator that has been nerfed into non-existence. I know a lot of the online issues have a trickle down effect on those of us that don't play park and pro-am exclusively. I wish the gameplay team could figure out how to change 1 without ruining the other.......

Edit: I forgot to touch on open teammates. I use player lock in My League, and when I pass to a wide open teammate for a shot, instead of shooting they do an unnecessary stepback. This kills the game at crucial moments. If somehow they could just shoot that would make a lot more sense.
