Agree and agree. And this game is easily the best tuned (at All-Star) out of the box. It is seriously minor the type of tweaks some players need (like yours truly) to get the game in the sweet spot they want.
The game looks simply gorgeous. I can’t wait for my Showcation March 28th - April 2nd. I finally gave myself the entire week (except for Monday lol) off to sink in and play the living crap out of the game on release week.
My wife thinks I need professional help......badly.
My wife has figured out that the best time to visit her family is the week I get the show. Home alone
I hope so, but I haven't seen the Nike Air Huarache at all. Maybe that is because they are trying to show off more new stuff, but going based off of last year it leads me to believe they took some stuff out rather than expanding on brands already in the game. I hope I'm wrong though. Doubt Mizuno batting gloves are in. Joey Bautista wasn't wearing Marruci batting gloves in the video either. Also doesn't look like Adidas batting gloves are in either. Every video/stream we've seen with a player that has Adidas cleats has a generic batting glove. Hopefully they actually show all the equipment tomorrow. Also, every video/stream we've seen the players that wear Nike Huarache has something different on. and I haven't seen the Nike Vapor Elite batting gloves that guys like Adrian Gonzalez and George Springer wear that were in 16. Everyone has the Swingman Pro on.
Wasnt the Nike Huarache the most worn shoe last year? I cant imagine them being gone? They have those Trout Nike I see that almost no one wore last year.
Im officially excited. The colors look a million times better than last year. As a PS4 pro and 4k tv owner im pretty excited to see whats in store because on the regular PS4 the game is looking much better this year. I was playing 16 today and its honestly just not a very good looking game IMO. The washed out colors being the major reason which definetly isnt a problem this year. And just wowza on the player faces. Osuna looks like Osuna finally. Pillar, Martin, and Travis in particular look so much better.
I need to see more but the catcher didnt rocket out of his crouch on the dropped third strike on Carrera early in the video so hopefully thats fixed.
Ball physics look great.
It is weird seeing Martin in the goalie mask but easily changed.
The multicolor bat tape is cool.
My one big concern is that every throw from the outfield was perfectly on target.
Highlight of the video though was the "bunt cheese" comment by Ramone.
It seems every facet of this game was improved. 75% of every ball hit I never saw before. Tons of animations especially after out animations jumped out. Graphically the game took a step. The speed of the ball in play is reminiscent of what you see when you are actually there. The show by far emulates the sport its trying to emulate the best out of the big four, this is a complete and comprehensive package delivered by a very small team. This is why I believe the show is one of the best games period regardless of genre.
You have a $5,000 tv but can't spend $400 to take advantage of gaming on it? Lol.
I'd settle for half of that.
Just for those that may not know aguero90 has vision problems and I believe is almost legally blind. He has the larger TV to be able to see it all and the differences in the Pro would probably not be visible to him.

Lol that makes much more sense and clears up the last part of that statement. Thanks Bullit.
On extreme shifts, does the third baseman move to the right of the second base bag, or into the SS position?
I'm going to assume it's still the SS position, but fully custom shifts would be pretty awesome. I'd love to keep my SS and 2B near their positions and move the 3B out to the short-RF spot on an extreme pull shift on a lefty.
This game looks so beautiful! The faces and grass look great, the arm motions on pitchers are faster, the players react better when approaching the stands/wall, the ball physics are amazing and you can see the ball slowing down appropriately based on the contact and once it hits grass (wonder how it acts on turf), the animations are so much better especially the arm slots when throwing...I'm just so happy lol The game just looks much more natural. The only thing I can think of graphically for next year (or future) right this instant is having the uniforms react to varying wind speeds throughout a game. All in all, March 28th needs to hurry the hell up!
At 13:10 the catcher blocks ball in the dirt. The ball rolls through the chalk and make a path through said chalk. I don't know if I saw that in real time before
