It's weird they gave Martin a goalie mask he's never worn one with the Blue Jays at least

Game looks incredible tho

Grass Tech!! (tears of joy)

Check out the 3 min 35 second mark to hear Ramone demo this.

Beautiful.

Ball physics, Grass, Dirt, FACES, Body Types, ShowTrack, Stadiums, Equipment.

Absolutely beautiful.

loving that fielding camera!

Game is looking beautiful. The work they put into the graphics (grass and players), the physics, and added animations....all contributing to a great version this year.

Only nitpick is the same I always have. That camera used for full field show track (after the massive HR to left field) would make an amazing fielding cam (for us auto fielding guys or ppl with great eye sight). Love seeing the entire field and all the players. Next year its time to add some cameras and work on presentation a bit more ( I know they already mentioned they are...like Kolby adding vs. stats to the on screen presentation).

A lot of the focus on here lately, from me and many others, has been about the criticism regarding franchise mode... but my god, this looks stunning.

Ball physics, faces, body types, animations, lighting.. Wow. So excited for March 28 after this. Breathtaking

Loving what I see, but man outfielders hug the lines far too much on the corners. Or perhaps more so, maybe it's just that they play too shallow. Whatever the case, I'll definitely be playing with fielder speed and reaction sliders again this year.

Also, I want me this broadcast fielding cam (stationary, with pan and zoom abilities of course). Maybe a hair higher, otherwise it's great! Someday...

Played 16 for almost a year and never saw Joey Bats bat flip, finally happened just as they started talking about it in the video lol.

I bought last years MLB the show 16 for the first time since 2008 on ps3 and I was so excited.. didn't think I would get that excited again honestly but after seeing gameplay videos.. wow I must say this game is looking impressive from last year. I'm excited...

They are positioned where they need to be for our game and balance. So we have the proper amount of extra base hits.

All of the batting stances I have seen this year look so much improved. They look a lot smoother and natural. I'm going to have a tough time picking one for my RTTS player. This game looks so good.

I'm still in decision mode on which TV to purchase (50" range). Hopefully they'll let us know the minimum on getting the best graphical performance so I can narrow down my options

This year it looks much smoother and fluid. Some faces, especially beards and hairs, look stunning and i really appreciate the new sliders for body types. Also grass is improved. So far i'm pretty happy graphical wise. I see maybe too many linedrives and bombs, but they were playing at rookie or veteran level. I suppose it was Hybrid presentation, right ?

( i really want to watch two innings on Broadcast without skipping any cutscene ! ).

Matchup stats, new commentary, mlb network, updated players were some of the things I had in the wishlist thread for 17. Thank you for actually listening to your customers.

I'll co-sign this post in terms of the playable fielding cam, but I actually don't want any zoom (or maybe just a touch but I want to see ball flight to create drama/suspense in terms of if its going to be a HR) and no cut-scenes at all.

As far as positioning, its why sliders were invented. Not a big deal IMO. If a guy hits a double, does it matter if he barely makes it into second so long as the outcome is a double. I mean, the devs do the best they can to represent the game. I think tinkering with outfield sizes or messing with positioning would likely create other issues at this point. To me the extra base hits are basically dialed in, particularly when I saw a ball go over the head of a CF in one of the earlier vids from this year. I also suspect the new physics and wind may help in this regard.

Not to get off topic but I was just in the same boat a couple of days ago. I went with the Sony x800d 49". It's superb. It really came down to the Sony or Samsung.

Got excited when I saw Joe Girardi giving signs from the dugout. Then realized it had no effect on the game and was just a cutscene!

Game looks really good.

Didn't see any numbers on the helmets, however. That's disappointing.

This overlay is glitched, looks like everything is one too low.

I hope to be included and see them in The Show 18. Please, SDS~~
