This may or may not have been discussed.....

I see teams have the New Era logo on the side of the hats.
Is that new in real life this year? Teams in the past have not had the New Era logo on the caps.

I hope New Era did not force MLB The Show to include this and have it not be in real life.
I can think of a similar scenario already....

Yankees are the only MLB Team not have the Majestic logo on their uniform sleeves in real life, but have always had it in The Show. So it is not necessarily unprecedented.

They started that in the playoffs last year. So yes it is accurate.

Alright cool....I figured in Playoffs they had it just because it was special edition Postseason hats...but if it is IRL than nothing to worry about.

Can someone explain purpose of BP unis since there is no BP before games (would be nice in future) except in RTTS?

While on it, I hope at least in future, we can have option to see opposing pitcher warm up for at least a couple pitches. I hate getting a new pitcher, particularly late innings, and you have no idea of pitching motion. While it is true you can go to bullpen to see pitcher warming up, sometimes a pitcher is brought in immediately without warm up notification. I also have to go to bullpen each time a pitcher is warming up even if the pitcher may not come in to the game. Seems like there could be seamless way to do this?

I love everything in the video. But I remember when "the little things" had a different meaning. Regardless though, I can't wait. Looks like a crap ton of hard work when into this years game especially.

Maybe there are not a whole lot of new things this year that would qualify as "Little Things"

Examples,

Ball Girls, Camera men working the cameras, Bat Boys picking up bats at home plates, Fans walking into the gates and buying food before game starts and rosin bag on the pitchers mound in real time these would be Little Things type stuff to me.

Sammy Sosa

i dont know, the video has things like, the players Card showing in the walkup in DD is a "little thing" as well as the fan sections from the part 1 video. the new stadiums are more of a big thing IMO, but they got most of it correct in terms of the "Little Things"

In 17, the LITTLE things are so big, it takes 2 threads to sew 'em up.

Doesn't necessarily mean those are new legends. This was a screenshot from MLB16

That's obviously showcasing franchise alltime stats... what other reason do they have to mention guys like Manny, Sosa, Vlad, Brock?

It's missing quite a few players. George brett for instance

It might just be me but I feel like the Pirates black is still a little too light on the first alternate jerseys. Hopefully this was fixed already since this is an outdated build.

Along with the new uniforms slots, LOVE that they finally put in monthly awards for Franchise/Season/RTTS. Always thought that would've been a cool touch to have in there and SCEA responded

Hopefully it has been updated and that is from an older build.

It makes it so noticeable because the socks, hat, and base layer shirt are all such deep blacks and then the jersey is lighter with a sheen to it.

The yellow is also too dull and the P is undersized in The Show.

This should be a throwback card in the show

The hat and socks look good and then the shirt looks like it's been washed a 1000 times!
