MLB The Show 17 Live Twitch Stream and Developer Blog Schedule Revealed

The MLB The Show 17 team revealed their Twitch Livestream schedule this year which also revealed a lot of new features coming to this year's game.

The live streams will start on Twitch on February 7th and will run weekly through March 23rd. In total, 11 live streams are scheduled with one yet to be finalized with regards to date.

In the descriptors for each live stream are some new details of features coming to MLB The Show 17.
  • Gameplay: New Ball Physics, Humanity AI, Cat and Mouse Gameplay, All New Catch and Throw Engine (+More!)
  • Diamond Dynasty Gets Dynamic: Events, Seasons, Programs, Missions 2.0, New Legends & Flashbacks. More!
  • The Little Things: New Uniform Sets, Universal Profile Overhaul, New Brands. More!
  • Presentation and Commentary: Showtrack, New Commentary?
  • Franchise Mode: Launch Pad, Player Quirks, Franchise Front Office.
  • Road to the Show and Create-A-Player: Player Model Revamps, Pave Your Path, Create-A-Player Revamp, PYP.
  • Graphics: Lighting, Grass Tech, New Head Rig, Classic Stadiums.

MLB The Show 17 Releases on March 28.

I've played every game religiously since MLB 08, so yes I'm 100% sure. I hope you don't think I'm talking about real life.......

they show the lineups for each team and focus on one player but they DO NOT go over every player in each lineup and where they bat....

Yeah this is the confusion I think. The game shows the lineup and the announcers talk about one guy, which has been more or less their strategy since 09 (They always talked about Milton Bradley in 09 lol). They don't go through and announce each name and show their avg,hr,rbi like in 08.

I did play 08 on ps2 and 09 on ps3, so your experience may have varied.

I miss the old PG lineup commentary (I hope they bring it back in the future). Starts at 1:40 mark.

first thing on the list in about 11 hours! comes out about when the kids get outta school. they may have to walk home.

So on all the dates listed on the schedule without the Twitch logo will these just be blogs/details on Show Nation or OS? and the dates on the schedule with Twitch logos be the live streams?

lol, lucky for me its a day off for regardless, but honestly that would be funny if people did that.

I am at work all day today, and I have sync'd my laptop to the tv in the store. Love being the boss! Who needs to call in sick when you can just watch it on a 4k tv hanging from the ceiling.

Great thing for me is that I am the Network Manager where I work so I can control everything in regards to streaming and such. Have never missed a stream or anything.
