Anyone remember what day last year we got the fact sheet?

I'm curious to know how many stances/deliveries they added and recaptured... Easily one of my favorite parts of the game.

There wasn't a fact sheet last year, they decided to do the streams and vlogs over the 2 months instead of just releasing all the info in one fact sheet. So same as this year

I actually prefer it this way.

Yeah I agree, it was nice getting all the information all at once, but I enjoy the streams way more as you actually get a look and explanation about features and improvements. There are many people who issues with aspects of the game and some I can see why and some I roll my eyes at but I am just so impressed how this dev team works and interacts, we are really spoiled.

True, It was definitely a bit exaggerated. But remember, that game is a decade old now. Graphics have come a long way since then. I believe there is a way we can have jerseys moving in the wind looking more subtly and realistically with current technology. I know it sounds like a minuscule thing that most people wouldn't care about, but I think if it were done right, it would add a ton to the atmosphere of the game, and put it over the top in terms of graphics. Add to that the new grass tech, and you'd have one of the best looking sports games yet.

Seems like I recall they didn't release a fact sheet...these VLOG and Twitch streams replaced it. Rather, we got released information (screen grabs) during the stream themselves.

Side note: I compiled all the data last year of all released info into a sticked thread until release...I hereby nominate Bullit for the honor.

I must be thinking of something else then.

Maybe it was the detailed list of what was shown in the streams... That's gotta be it.

I didnt even notice after first glance of the image there was any mention of player models improvement. Its under road to the show which i just passed over. You would think that would be one of the bolded headlines to the features instead of just being under road to show.

I thought that was weird too, but that stream isn't just for RTTS, it's also for the revamped CAP which makes sense as to why they would talk about the player models in that stream. It is a little weird however that "new head rig" isn't in the CAP steam. I would have thought that that would be part of the player model improvements.

1. "Grass Tech" Finally the grass possibly could be getting a major upgrade?

I hope this includes the infield dirt as well

2. "Humanity AI" Possibly means CPU players will make much smarter life like gameplay decisions. And hopefully also means better CPU bullpen management.

3. "All New Catch & Throw Engine" Hopefully means less low and in the dirt throws over to first base where the first basemen has to reach and stretch so often even on simple throws. Also hopefully means there will be even more of a difference between players with great arms vs weak arms. And maybe improving the throwing urgency as well.

And these sound very interesting!

1. Cat and Mouse gameplay
2. Of course new ball physics
3. New Uniform Sets
4. "Fill in the Blank" Presentation Package, Hopefully MLB Network or at least something kind of like what 2K is doing for Basketball and used to do with baseball and football.
5. "Fill in the Blank" & "Fill in the Blank" Join The Booth, Possibly a 5 man booth?
6. Player Model Improvements, Could just mean being able to add and edit more things during player create instead of actual brand new player models?
7. Player Quirks
8. New Brands
9. New Big Rig, No idea what that could be?
10. Universal Profile Overhaul, Perhaps you can now save your profile to the cloud?

And I am sure there is a lot more new stuff then this

O yeah I am pumped!!!
Nice! I absolutely love this breakdown of the possibilities, with the info given. Personally I'm very excited about ball physics and even all new catch and throw engine! As you said, to bring out even more of a difference between golden glover types...... and the defensive liabilities on the field.

I'm actually kinda glad it's not Reynolds because he drives me crazy.

As a lady who loves MLB and MLB the Show, this would be great! Maybe someday we'll even be able to create female players.

On MLB Networks "Hot Stove" earlier in the off season there was mention of Harold Reynolds recording lines for a video game.

Sorry for off topic but want to ask where is Knight165?

I thought for sure he'd reply to this thread.

On topic I really want to know who the announcers are lol

Meh, we've seen player model improvements listed every year as improved, so we'll wait and see what exactly player model improvements mean this year.

Hopefully they're the real meaningful ones that people really want to see.
