Personally I wish they would either expand on it or just scrap it.

Agreed. Hopefully they can more with it, because in its current state it feels like little more than a novelty.

I would think the info about new player models would have been listed under the Graphical Improvements Deep Dive not Road to the show Deep Dive which has me thinking perhaps it's not really full blown new player models that we are all hoping for. Maybe it's just more things you can edit with the player models?

But if it is new player models with new bone structures, body types, faces, numbers moved higher on back of jerseys and so on then that will back a lot of us very happy around here!

It sure is fun speculating

To be honest, in a video game, it is more of a novelty. While it's cool to see the first couple of times, it doesn't add anything to game play. But then again, this is coming from someone that only plays RttS and haven't been involved in any replays (other than the HR thing).

100% agree there is a lot more the PS4 can do then we have seen!

Now that they do not have to worry about the PS3 things should really get moving fast as far as graphics go

Is this referring to road to the show, or actual gameplay? I would say rtts is far from great. Although this year's additions look promising.

Heck, I can only see a bit out of my left eye, and I know it's wrong! So Hyped, it's going to be a great year! PS, A little off topic, but the schedulemakers put the Yanks on my birthday July 15 at Fenway park, and I'm going for the first time to Boston!! I'm looking to get the best seats in the house, so any guys who have been to Fenway, please PM me your recommendations on where to sit!

Been waiting for the return of jerseys that move, like this:

EDIT: add a better video to show the windy jerseys.

A few things I wish they would bring over to the show, the stadium intro, the line up cards, the windy jerseys, and rain delays/rescheduled games. Do that and take my money!

Wow, that wind effect is awesome. And is that Jon Miller on the mic? The commentary is superb as well.

My 3 things from the list I'm most excited to hear about:

- Franchise Deep Dive - the launch pad, front office, and player quirks. Anything that could make my favorite mode more immersive is a plus in my book. Curious as to what these things will involve.

- Gameplay Improvements - New ball physics and the fielding improvements (new catch and throw engine). Felt fielding is definitely one area that has gotten a little stale over the years. Hoping to see some cool additions to playing defense and making it more fresh this year.

- New Presentation/Commentary Package - if this is an MLB Network package (which it seems to be), I'm gonna be so pumped! And adding some new voices to the booth is a welcomed addition for everyone IMO.

Really excited to hear more about these things and all the other topics the dev team has planned. Lighting, CAP revamp, and graphic improvements are also gonna be what I'm paying most attention too.

I'm still playing almost everyday with '16 and it looks like I'll be doing the same this time next year with '17. Thanks for the hard work, Ramone and the rest of the dev team! Bring on release day!

That game is 10 years old and the commentary is still miles ahead of the Show in terms of sounding natural and connected to the game. I hope SDS can get it to that point, but in my opinion they'd need to overhaul their current writing and recording practices.
