NBA 2K17 Patch 1.05 Coming Soon, Fixes Roster Update Issue, Pro-Am & More

NBA 2K17 patch 1.05 is coming soon, according to the official NBA 2K Twitter account. The tweet confirms update 1.04 introduced issues for the team to update rosters.

Pro-Am divergences will also be addressed, but nothing specific was detailed. Once the patch is available and/or we get more details, we will let everyone know.

That's how the Pro-am players feel.

That mode is broken therefore this game is broken.

This is why I try to preface my posts with a mention Im a MyLeague guy.

I wouldnt even know how to get in to the Pro-Am mode.

If it doesn't drop by friday night I may have to just contact Sony, play dumb and say I didn't receive an update patch, see if they tell me anything, according to an ETA because hoping and waiting sucks.

by imminent, they mean it's waiting for Sony approval

i dunno how long it takes for PS4 now, but it took a few days in the PS3 era for patches to be put out, but i'm sure it's a lot faster now considering Modern Warfare remastered updated 3 ****ing times in the past few days

it's a perfect example of 2k's gimmicky ways.
it's still better than having players with like 10 hall of fame badges

i really wish we could upgrade badges to gold, especially since theres another tier, i don't really see why not, whats the point of the badge if it's only a minor boost

What I don't get is: if the patch is claimed to be ready, why it hasn't already been released on PC since it doesn't need any approval??

They charge the same for the game in PC than in console, so the reason y we are always second course has me intrigued.

I've been asking the same question ever since 2k made it to pc.

pretty sure that's more of a game design thing since it's been in the previews and all, 2k is way too lazy to just add in something like that

I'm on XBOX, so I'm expecting to wait atleast another week or two. But I'm looking forward to the patch to drop on PS4 so 2K will release their patch notes. I enjoy the feedback from the PS4 users as well.

Man after grinding 228 hours (probably 198 on just grinding my 2 MyPlayers dammit) I haven't touched this game since they patched it to the molasses movement feel, I am so thankful for how addicted I am to Titanfall2 (great game).

Not that I am over it, lol...I realllly hope they fix the issues with player movement, it was one of the best things out of the box with 2K17, the anklebreaker badge was a bit OP but now these make up defence patches (thats what they are because of the broken help defence AI right? they gotta make the man D insane for the AI going special needs here n there to try and compensate?) have effectively killed it dead.

Based on what?

You're probably right but you know, I still want to believe that I can resume my Pro-AM duties this weekend.

Tuesday??? No... it doesn't work like that. I've seen patches go live on Saturday/Sunday, just about any day of the week depending on how important they are to the game. Destiny seems to put out patches like immediately compared to how slow patches used to come out

If it's already been submitted to Sony like they said, let's assume they submitted it Monday/Tuesday. After the testing to make sure it doesn't crash the game and what not, which can take a few days because people are always trying to put out updates, work hours and all. So it could come out at any time any day, of course it's more likely to come out during the business week/hours but again patches HAVE gone live on Saturday/Sunday

realistically we SHOULD be getting the patch Fridayish as 2K is a rather big name for consoles. If it doesn't come out by 3PM EST today just look forward to Friday
