I keep seeing people saying that the game feels like 2K16, I don't know what game you guys are playing but to me 2K16 felt way more polished than this. I don't think they feel similar at all given all the over-physicality, ridiculously high FG%, and boatload of bugs.

Just read on on the nba2k reddit that Ronnie said on twitter that patch 5 is "imminent" and it was sent to Microsoft and Sony already

You're by yourself on that idea, lol. I still use my console for other things.

I'm convinced this is the intended battle they want to showcase for the tourney: a curry bombs shootout.

Left to right, Right to left, hide behind screen: fire away.

It's hard to justify real FG% as the simulation goal for this tournament. It's a conflict of interest to introduce HOF badges + Grand badges and play out the game on an easy shooting difficulty. It's a conflict because this environment can in no way encourage realistic shooting percentages.

I'm content with accepting this reality as long as they don't try and advertise it otherwise falsely...

They been saying "soon" for weeks now. I'll believe it when I see it.

They switch on late game defensive possessions.

They double off your poorest shooter.

They double at good times (although yeah its over done).

They put their best defenders on your best scorers regardless of position.
Are you being sarcastic?

Literally everything you just listed is the exact opposite of how it happens for me and many other players speaking about this in various threads.

2k support told me this morning (1am is the email timestamp) that the patch hasn't been released yet.

But we know how helpful they are.

I' not being sarcastic.

I'm only speaking for my experience, which has been a very positive one. Many other posters have reported a great experience of sim basketball, but often we are busy playing the game and not posting on OS a lot.

All sarcasm aside, most of us aren't here trolling 2k - unlike Dirk's version of the game, a lot of us are having serious issues.

I'm happy for Dirk - he doesn't have to witness the worst transition defense in the history of basketball games, nor does he have to witness Russell Westbrook going 1v1 against an invisible wall, where he finally claims victory, as he walks out of bounds with no one even near him. I also envy those of you who don't have to witness every center in the game finding his way under the basket, where the nearest defender is deciding whether or not to bother defending it (They always choose not to.)

I won't even mention how my copy came without editable POEs (without having to enter the game,) and every team racing down the court jacking up 3s, like they're the Golden State Warriors. Nah, I won't mention that.
Ive seen the out of bounds glitch, but might see it once every 5 games.

I've seen the big guys running down the floor unguarded glitch, but saw it maybe once every 3 games.

In terms of pace, Ive seen slow teams play slow and fast teams play fast. I've posted screenshots of holding Memphis and Chicago to low 70 FGAs.

But positive posts at this time of year run counter to the narrative. I understand that people with negative opinions post a lot more and are more likely to use extreme language (e.g. "This game is broken", "Devs know nothing about basketball", "This is NBA Jam").

And as I try to say, I play MyLeague exclusively with my edited rosters and sliders.

I'll give you $60 for your copy of the game.

The problem is some of these OS posters think the sky is falling with this game which is far far from the truth..I actually enjoy the game as is, yes their are bugs, but the game is "broken" stuff is an over exaggeration IMO...any who I can almost guarantee people will not be happy with the upcoming patch and they will be at square one again...

well if 2K can't update rosters because of their own wrongdoing, I call that broken

# 256 twebb5896 @ 11/02/16 09:46 PM
To all the offline guys saying this game is fine, how would you feel if every time you started a MyLeague or Play Now game you were immediately removed from the game and your results were simmed and deemed final.

That's how the Pro-am players feel.

That mode is broken therefore this game is broken.

Try to tell me if your main mode didn't work you wouldn't be saying the same thing.

Part of the patch includes fixing Pro AM which they themselves have acknowledged is broken

It may not be great but anyone looking for a roster search "Starting" and the one under Bacon can give at least a base. CAP missing players made for missing players.

See here's the thing.

I went through the badges of all the players and wrote up a list of ones I needed to change. I think I got to about 60-80 badges (not players, badges) out of all the 450 players that I thought were wrong. And plenty of those were the 'put back king' badge to players who calearly arent put back kings.

There were some howlers (2-3 non dunkers with the high flyer or whatever its called). But these might have been 20 in total. How many badges in total are there being used? 40 per team? so 1200 in total?

I'd gladly take 1140/1200.

the only thing that bothers me about community rosters having to here the bull**** nicknames 2K calls CAPs.

I don't want to hear the announcers call Ron Baker "The General" or something half the time he has the ball
