Let us know what you're seeing!

UPDATE: Here are the official Madden NFL 17 patch notes:
  • Fixed a gameplay issue where the player on defense could tell if the opponent was going to run or pass
  • Client-side fix for the bug where you could see ratings of the upcoming draft class prior to the draft (server fix already applied to Cloud Franchises)
  • Reduce the amount of strip-tackle attempts made by the CPU
  • Fixed a major desync which was happening when a user went from Skills Trainer to Online (happened fairly often after the new-user flow)
  • No passing icons on PA, Force defender tuning, nano detection system tuning, users not getting stamina penalty when meter depleted
  • Force defenders not dropping back vs. run when in zone coverage; Play Action desync; Fumble frequency in MUT solos.
  • Lots of high priority gameplay fixes that includes:
    • Stripping the Ball from behind the ball carrier is overpowered - We found a bug where the defender was getting multiple rolls at causing a fumble per animation
    • Occasionally on Play-Action passes, the user would be unable to throw the ball
    • Play-Action Pass Desync Online Head to Head Desync
    • MUT Online - Fixed an issue with Cowboys uniforms that could result in a 'white on white' situation
    • Acquisitions Screen showing rookie/free agent ratings before the draft - fixed
    • Fixed a crash that would occur in the Guantlet after making an interception in the Big Man Rumble challenge
    • Occasionally, users were triggering 'Nano Detection' when successfully using the 'Off the Line Mechanic' on RT as a pass rusher
    • Occasionally, users would lose all pre-play functionality when selecting a defensive linemen while breaking the huddle
    • Occasionally, user would see defensive plays disappear in the playbook screen after selecting an audible during the previous play
    • Fumbles occurring too frequently in MUT solos where the CPU-controlled team started with the lead
    • Force Players will be better at containing the edge once they get engaged
    • Force player will be faster in breaking out of Read and React and into Force
    • Cover 1 plays were sometimes not aligning to Trips formations correctly
    • Occasionally, offensive linemen would run to the end zone and not block when running no huddle repeatedly in Draft Champions.
    • When Force players on the playside of any non-counter runs had a zone coverage assignment, they would drop back into coverage at the snap - this has been fixed
    • Fixed a Crash in Franchise mode that would sometimes occur in Franchise mode Practice during goal completion

It's much too easy to complete deep balls for touchdowns on out routes.

I can get at least 3 TDs a game on deep balls if I tried. There's a few threads that got buried here discussing it.

I have to eliminate deep routes from my playbook, it sucks.

Hoping they tuned AI QB scrambles and it's just not in the notes.

Also the cpu automatically cutting players is not mentioned

Here is one of the threads. I also started a thread myself. On all pro try it out yourself.

Run any play with a deep out route.. easy completion past the CB. It's like they get stuck in mud and any receiver can just blow right by.

Let us know what you're seeing!

Fixed in this patch:

- No passing icons appearing on Play Action plays
- Pre-snap glitch where you could tell a pass/run by whether the receivers had a name listed or not
- White against white jerseys appearing in Head to Head games
- The Force Defender AI was tuned
- Blocker occasionally not blocking in the hurry up offense
- Strip Tackle attempts by the CPU were reduced
- Fixed a bug with prematurely showed incoming rookie ratings in franchise mode
- User defenders will now slow down when stamina is depleted
people cheat like crazy online because of this. I'm so glad this is changng. Fatigue makes zero sense in this game. No qb should be panting after being on the field for just the first quarter.

Guys - just because it isn't mentioned doesn't mean it isnt in - we don't have official patch notes as of yet. The listing you see from above is from Rex and Clint in Twitter.

Well I'll still hold out hope for the coverage issue to be remedied. There can't only be a handful of us seeing this issue .

This one bugs me the most since I kept signing a backup wr and every time I'd advance a week, he'd disappear from my roster and if have to resign him and still had the open roster spot. I'm not sure what causes this. I also couldn't advance in training for some reason because it kept saying I needed to choose my focus players and wouldn't fix until I turned cpu fill rosters to on after verifying I had enough players on my team in every position first.

Was it really 4+GB? I could have sworn my patch said it was only ~340mb and it seemed like it didn't even take a minute for me to download. Either way, I started a game against the Texans and got just into the second quarter and the game froze after a penalty. First one I've had on 17, gonna try again.

Rex just stated in his live stream that the QB PA glitch being fixed SHOULD fix QB scrambling as well.

He is testing it now:

Which system? It's smaller on XB1, apparently. On PS4, mine is showing as 4.841 to be exact.

Hopefully this means outside runs won't be so easy now. Haven't tested it yet but if it's not in this one hopefully the next patch will fix the stats glitch/bug in CFM.

Patch looks great except for it looking like AI QB scrambles might not have been addressed. I would think fixing AI QB scrambles would be noteworthy enough and is worthy enough to be in the patch notes. Not a game killer or anything but definately hurts the realism a bit and takes away some of the challenge of going against mobile QB's like Cam Newton and Russel Wilson and also takes away some of the advantage/benifits of having a mobile QB for the CPU.

The latest tuner definately helped a bit. Since the tuner I've seen the rare scramble and QB's are definately more elusive in the pocket and try to move around more if theirs pressure and they do attempt to roll out if they can if the sack is coming. At least it's not as bad as at release where they would mainly keep walking backwards or just stand their and take the sack instead of trying to avoid it. Still not where it needs to be though in my opinion.

Huge disappointment if it wasn't changed.

I can agree that it's also in Millenium.

Reasons for the deep ball coverage is:

1. WR #1 is matched up on the left side with normally CB#2

2. CB plays press about 75% of all passing plays. Which allows your #1 receiver or any fast WR to outrun their defender. Especially if they have a good release.

3. Safeties do not play deep coverage very well. Only about 33% of all passing plays involving deep plays has a Safety in good position to swat the ball or defender the WR.

Playing as the Bears on default All Madden, I tested this out and had 350+ yards with Alshon Jeffrey and 3 TDs in less than a half of a game.

Yeah I am not seeing this at all either, I find it near impossible to complete any type of deep ball.
I really hope they fixed the CPU scrambling issue.
Honestly it is killing the game for me.
It makes the gameplay so unrealistic to see a wide open gap for the qb to run for a first down. Only to have him throw the ball out of bounds. I have need seen a CPU scramble once in the 50 or so games I have played.
Last night in my Bengals franchise game the Jets had the ball on the 5 yard line, it was 3rd and goal.
Fitz rolled out to the right there was absolutely no one around him. He could have crawled into the endzone. Whats he do? Holds the ball for 6 seconds just sanding there with no one around him until a defender gets close than he throws the ball out of bounds. It cost the Jets the game as he could have tied the game with a TD.
I watched the replay 10 times and it was just horrible.
